Lots of other little quality of life improvements as well, included some much needed documentation in the form of tutorial notebooks. Hey @everyone , we made a little bot to make it easier to play with Bark. The beta is now live, but very much a beta. The bot lives in the bot-beta channel. It has new built-in voices as well, including some funny singing voices.
You can go to the #🐶┃bark-beta channel, and try the /bark, /poem and /joke commands. You can save any good voices you find and browse them with /voices. Use the /help command for more instructions or check out the user guide here:

Hey @everyone, we wanted to share a quick update and extend a warm welcome to all of the new members of the community. We’re actively working on improving quality and controllability, and we’re building heavily-requested features like genre prompting for Chirp 🐥 The initial results are very promising, and you can find some early examples below.
We will also roll out some quality-of-life improvements that will make it easier to use the models on Discord. We released a new-and-improved video format earlier today, and we’re looking into generating album art with SDXL 1.0 instead of SD 1.5. In addition to genre prompting, other upcoming features include:
- Prompting with lyrics as well as genres and genders
- Using Chirp in other servers
- Expanded language coverage
- Working in your DMs
- Using tags like [chorus] and [verse] to guide song structure

Hey @everyone, we’re excited to announce that we’re officially releasing a beta of the newest version of Chirp! v1 brings a range of new features and improvements over v0:
🎧 Enhanced audio quality
🎺 Choose the style of your music (e.g. country or power ballad)
🎛️ Control song structure with prompts like [verse] and [chorus]
🌎 50+ languages now supported
⚡ Faster generation speed

Music Style Control
By popular demand, you can now control the style of the songs you create. You can input genres like rock or pop, more niche genres like k-pop or opm, descriptions like melodic or upbeat or mix and match any of the above (try melodic edm). And if you’re in need of a little inspiration, just leave the style as random and we’ll randomly choose one for you! Please note the model does not recognize artist-specific metatags like [drake], [frank sinatra], etc.
New Usage Tiers
We have been really energized by the adoption of Chirp 🐣 Suno's Discord is now 40,000+ strong, and it's becoming increasingly expensive to support the growing usage from the community. To that end, we're introducing a new usage tier in addition to the free option starting today.
Suno now has two subscription plans: Free and Pro:
- All users are automatically subscribed to the Free Plan upon joining Suno's Discord. The Free Plan includes 250 credits (25 Chirps) per month, and free subscribers will still be able to work solo in their DMs.
- The Pro Plan will cost $10/month, which will give subscribers 1,000 credits (100 Chirps) per month, the ability to buy additional generations, priority in the queue and more features to come soon.

Please note usage in other servers uses credits — similar to usage in DMs. Like in Suno's Discord, your server's members will automatically be enrolled in the free plan when they use the /chirp command for the first time. Thank you to our wonderful community, which has already generated 500,000 Chirps! We just gifted @everyone 100 free credits to try out some new features, which are now live:
⏱️ Chirps now have a max length of 40 seconds, instead of 30 seconds. That's up to 33% more music per Chirp! ChatGPT lyrics should finish more often, and continuations will still be 30 seconds. No action is required to take advantage of this new feature.

1 Million Chirps, More Credits and a New Plan
The Suno community has made 1 million songs with Chirp 🥳 To celebrate, we are gifting @everyone 100 free credits and announcing some exciting updates to our plans. Spoiler alert, it's mOaR CrEDitS!
Plan Updates
- Free (Daily Credits)
- The Free plan now includes 50 credits (5 Chirps) per day instead of 250 credits (25 Chirps) per month. That's a ~6x increase in the total number of Chirps per month! Like monthly credits, the free plan's daily credits reset and do not roll over day-to-day.
- Pro (2.5x More Monthly Credits)
- We are increasing the number of monthly credits included with Pro by 2.5x from 1,000 to 2,500, effective immediately. If you are actively subscribed to Pro, no further action is required to get these new credits. Your monthly credit limit has already been raised to 2,500.
- Premier (10,000 Credits / Month) 🆕
- By popular demand, we are also introducing a new plan: Suno Premier. Premier includes 10,000 credits (1,000 Chirps) per month for $30 per month.
- Annual Billing Option (20% Off)
- We added an annual billing option for both Pro and Premier. You can save 20% by paying for the full year rather than month-to-month.

We have been hard at work reaching feature parity across the web app and Discord. You can now make songs with custom lyrics and styles on the web app just like you can on Discord, and you can now continue previous (v2) songs on the web app.

V3 Alpha Access for Pro & Premier Members
Hey @everyone, V3 is coming soon, and we believe it has the potential to redefine the state-of-the-art for generative music. We’re encouraged by what we’ve heard, but we need your help testing and improving the model before we release it to the full community. To that end, we are sharing access to an early version of V3, V3 Alpha, with Pro and Premier members 🥳
V3 Alpha features
V3 Alpha has better audio quality and a max clip length of two minutes among other heavily requested features. V3 makes songs faster and has increased expressiveness, dedicated instrumental support and expanded language coverage. V3 also allows you to continue from anywhere — a feature that’s backward compatible with songs you made with V2.
How to use V3 Alpha
We think V3 Alpha creates more realistic, authentic music, but we want to know what you think! Follow these steps to start testing V3 Alpha:
1️⃣ Go to https://app.suno.ai/create/
2️⃣ Change V2 to V3 (Alpha). You can go back to using V2 anytime during the alpha access period by switching back to V2 from V3 (Alpha).
Please like (👍) and dislike (👎) songs that you like and dislike. This is the fastest, most direct way to help us improve V3, but you can also share feedback in the #💬┃general-chat channel here on Discord or with @suno_ai_ on X.

A word of caution
V3 Alpha is the next step toward enabling anyone to have fun making music, but the early version we’re sharing today still has weaknesses. V3 Alpha struggles to follow certain prompts like key signatures and BPM, and its songs don’t always sound perfectly mixed and mastered. By popular demand, V3 Alpha makes longer songs, but it can also be prone to hallucination —especially when fed short prompts.
V3 Alpha is still under development, and this early version still takes creative liberties with song structure at times. You may need to prompt V3 Alpha differently than V2 for best results, and V3 Alpha will change without notice as we continue development and work toward a full release by making improvements in these areas.

Pro and Premier members can use credits included in their subscriptions to test V3 Alpha, but we’ve also added 300 free credits to all paying members’ accounts as a small thanks for helping us make the best possible model for V3. Enjoy!

We added 500 credits to your account as a small token of our thanks for your patience and so you can explore the new improvements now live at our new-and-improved site:
Home Page
We added dynamic categories of music to the new homepage so you can more easily explore the best songs from the community. Categories include New, Trending and Liked, a custom playlist including all of the songs you’ve liked on Suno. You’ll also find some hand-picked favorites in Suno Showcase!
We’re going to continue to experiment here, so check back regularly to discover more songs, categories and future classics from your fellow creators. If you make your songs public, maybe you’ll find your own masterpiece topping Trending!

You may have also noticed the shiny Beta tag on the home page. Our first dedicated listening experience is now live here:

We’re also excited to introduce Profiles, the new home for you and all of the songs you’ve created with Suno! Click the yellow banner at the top of https://suno.com, or follow these steps to choose a display name and claim your handle:
1️⃣ Sign in, and click your avatar in the bottom left on desktop or the menu icon in the bottom right if you’re on mobile
2️⃣ Click Edit Profile
3️⃣ Choose your public display name (e.g., The Prompt Whisperer). We randomly generate a display name and handle for you to start, but you can change them anytime!
4️⃣ Claim your handle (e.g., @promptwhisperer), which will appear in your profile’s URL (e.g., suno.com/@promptwhisperer)
5️⃣ Click Save. You can now share your Suno creations with the world more easily 
Discord
We haven’t maintained the #chirp-beta channels for some time now. The Discord bot was still running Chirp v1, and over 99% of songs were created using our web app in recent months. We are going to archive these channels at 12pm ET on Monday (4/14) to focus the server on announcements, community and tips + tricks moving forward. However, you will still be able to use your Discord account to log into the web app, where you can access all of our latest models, products and features!

Pro and Premier members can now upload profile, cover and playlist images and re-generate album art after a song has been created.
🔎 Public Song Search
You can now search for any public song on Suno using:
- Song Titles: Search for specific songs, like
Egyptian Dance Party - Tags: Search by mood, genre or anything else you might use to describe a song (e.g.,
RockorChill) - Lyrics: You can search for lyrics like "cat, cat, cat" and find that song that's been stuck in your head — even when you only remember a catchy phrase
This first version of search is limited to public songs, but you will soon be able to search all songs in your Library.
🎶 Mobile Creation & Navigation
We simplified the creation and navigation experience on mobile to make it easier to create songs from any page. There is now more space for custom lyrics, and you can see songs as they are loading.
❤️🔥 Follow the Creators You Love
You can now follow your favorite creators, and your fans can follow you too. You can see who you follow and who is following you in your Library.

By popular demand, we're now showcasing the community’s favorite playlists right on your Home page. Want to get your music out there? Create and share awesome public playlists, and you might see them on Trending next!

v3.5 is an updated version of v3, with the following improvements:
- 4-minute max clip length. You can now get your full song in a single generation!
- 2-minute max song extensions
- Improved song structure and vocal flow
Pro and Premier members will be able to select between v3.5, v3 and v2 for your generations. Pro and Premier members will also be able to generate and download audio in .wav format. ⬇️ v3.5 will be available to free users as early as next week.

2. e-Sign the NDA:
Once you sign up for the session, I will send you a link to e-sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). Please sign it before your scheduled interview so that we can show you some prototypes of what Suno could look like in the future.
3. Join the Remote Interview
We’ll use Google Meet for the interview. You’ll receive a link once you’ve scheduled your session.
**4. Get Paid $20: **
After the interview, you will receive a $20 gift card to your email address. The gift cards are completely flexible, you can get them as a prepaid virtual visa and use it on anything (including a Suno subscription :D).

Covers (in early-access beta)
Hi @everyone - a new feature called Covers is available to all Pro/Premier subscribers. Covers allow you to keep the melody of your songs but adopt them into a different style.
Cover Any of Your Own Songs By
1 - Finding songs in your Library or Create page
2 - Right click or click the vertical "..."
3 - Hover over Create > Click "Cover Song"
4 - Lyrics will automatically be pulled forward into the song you’re covering. For best results, keep lyrics the same to start. But you can change lyrics / add to them as you experiment.
Your first 200 covers are free! Once the initial 200 covers are used, each new cover generation will cost 10 credits, similar to generating new songs.
Additional Creative Possibilities
1 - Instrumental to Vocal: Some users have successfully used the Cover feature on an instrumental song and added lyrics to create a layered musical piece.
2 - Transform Audio Uploads: Try uploading a clip of your singing, humming, or playing an instrument and try covering.
Early Access Beta
We are working hard to make Covers better. In our internal testing, we’ve found that Covers will sometimes return the original song you’re covering. Your song feedback is the most critical part of this; please thumbs up / thumbs down so we can make Covers better. Thank you!

Crop Songs
Hi @everyone - Pro and Premier users can now Crop Songs on Suno. Cropping allows you to keep a portion of your song and remove everything else.
How to use:
1 - Find a song you’ve created in your Library or in Create
2 - Right click or go into the More Actions menu
3 - Hover over “Edit” and click “Crop Song”
4 - Use the pink waveform selectors to pick the start / end of portion of your song you would like to keep
5 - Click “Crop Song”
6 - A new song will be added to Create and your Library
Also:
You can now Edit Displayed Lyrics from directly within Edit > Song Details.
Currently Crop Songs and the new Edit Details workflows are desktop-only. We are working to port these to tablet-web and mobile-web.

Replace Sections
Hi @everyone - Pro and Premier users can now Replace Sections of songs.
What You Can Do
- Change Lyrics: Perfect for tweaking the words in your song.
- Add Instrumental Breaks: insert an instrumental section like a guitar riff or a drum break.
How to Use It
- **Access the Feature: **Right-click on a song or click the vertical “...” to open the More Actions menu.
- Navigate to Replace Section: Go to Edit > Replace Section.
- **Enter Edit Mode: **You’ll be taken into Edit Mode with the song.
- Select the song portion you wish to recreate (must be 10-30 seconds long). Lyrics (if present) will automatically be populated into the Lyrics box.
- **Update your Lyrics (if you wish): Update your lyrics or try typing [drum break]
6. Recreate the Section: **Click the “Replace Section” button. - **Choose Between Sections: **Two versions will be generated. Listen to both and click “Select” on the one you prefer.
- Select a Section: Once you select a section, you’ll be redirected to the Create page where a full song will begin generating automatically.

Hey @everyone! We’re excited to introduce Personas! Personas let you save the essence of a song - vocals, style, vibe - and reimagine it across your creations.
Here’s how:
1️⃣ Find a song you love. Click “...” then go to “Create” and “Make a Persona”.
2️⃣ Toggle between Public and Private for your Persona. Public Personas can be used by others, will have their own page, and can be found in your library and profile.
3️⃣ Add lyrics and style like you would any other song!
This feature is available to all Pro & Premier members in early-access beta. You get 200 free songs to make with Personas - after that, each new song made with Personas will cost 10 credits.

@everyone has been knocking at the door for a way to organize all your creations—we’re answering the call. Explore Suno Workspaces and keep your catalog of sounds in order.
How it works:
- When you go to create your next song, look under the prompt box and click ‘Create a new Workspace’. From there you’ll be able to create, curate, and organize your songs.
- Any song you remix will automatically be saved to the same workspace as the original, but you can always move it if that doesn’t work for your curation style.
**Tip: **multi-select songs by holding shift and clicking on several songs. Then right click to move songs in bulk to a workspace.

Tap More Actions (...) next to a song, hit Remix, and choose to Cover, Extend, or Reuse Prompt to make it yours. You’ll be able to see every remix made from a track—so no one loses sight of the source material.
If you Remix someone else's song, it does not include commercial use rights. Similarly, if someone Remixes your song, they do not have commercial use rights to their version of your work. If you Remix your own, however, you're good to go!

Mike here, Head of Community Support. Since arriving at Suno a year and half ago, I’ve had a chance to interact with many of you through various channels, contests, etc., and I’m looking forward to a lot more of that in 2026. As Thanksgiving approaches in the US, I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to learn from you, to listen to so much great music from the community, and to be a part of a team that shares my passion for music creation.
Our success at Suno relies on your success. If we can help bring your songs to life, we’ve hit one of our goals. Beyond that, we’re focused on building new opportunities for our community to interact with the existing music ecosystem, and in a way that allows the music-makers that have influenced generations of listeners and creators alike to be a part of the conversation.
We recently announced a partnership with Warner Music Group to help accelerate that mission, but I want to discuss what that means for you and how it affects Suno as your partner in music creation.

The way you create is only getting better
You’ll still be able to create original songs the way you love today. Our core experience remains focused on giving everyone access to powerful music creation.
Studio remains our pro powerhouse
Suno Studio isn’t going anywhere, and will continue to improve. If you rely on Studio for advanced workflows, that experience is staying as-is, plus more feature rollouts ahead.
**Rights to the music you make **
Music made on the free plan remains for personal, non-commercial use only
Music made on a paid plan will continue to be granted commercial use rights
All works are subject to our Terms of Service, and songs published to Suno are subject to our Community Guidelines
As a result of our partnership with WMG, and in line with our mission to give you the best experience, you can expect:
A new generation of powerful music models
This partnership enables us to build a new generation of Suno models using high-quality licensed music. Access to the best opted-in music means you’ll get even better sounding music of your own!
New experiences for fan engagement
We will be introducing content from WMG artists who opt in for the use of their names, images, likenesses, voices, and compositions to be used in new AI-generated music. These will be new creation experiences from artists who do opt in, which will open up new revenue streams for them… and allow you to interact with them in new ways. You’ll be able to build around participating artists’ sounds and ensure they get compensated.
Privacy & safety
We will also build new privacy features to protect the works of creators at all levels and enable them to share on their own terms.
Updates to downloads
We’re not removing downloads, but some changes are in the works. We know being able to download the songs you make in Suno is very important to the Suno community, and that functionality isn’t going away. Moving forward, a paid Suno account will be required to download songs from the product, with each paid tier enabling a specific number of downloads each month (with more details to be shared soon).
How and when will things change?
We know that change can affect your workflow, and we’ll be mindful as we start integrating. Of course, that doesn’t alleviate the feeling of growing pains or any uneasiness about the future. For whatever it’s worth, I’m beyond excited for what will undoubtedly be a level-up for so much of what we do already, and our roadmap is full of things we can’t wait to share.
Over the coming weeks and months, we’ll send updates with more details, expected timelines, etc. At the end of the day, our mission remains the same: Make music more valuable (in every way), accessible, interactive, and fun. Your creativity continues to push us forward, and we’re taking the steps to reshape a music ecosystem and economy that can benefit you and all music-makers alike.

How to use Sounds mode:
Need an airhorn sample, glass smash or airplane for your track, or footsteps for your foley project? We’ve got you covered — choose ‘one-shot’, type your prompt and hit Create.
Want a specific loop, like a guitar riff, a bass line or synth lick to start an idea, or add to an existing Studio session? Choose loop, select your key and tempo (bpm) and describe the sound you want.
Sounds you generate cost** 2 credits** per click.
To find the new feature, go to Create, choose Sounds from the Custom dropdown and make that sound you hear in your head come to life!

Turn any sound you like into a song — with Sample
Sample lets you select a section of sound as the jumping off point for new ideas. Whether it’s a snippet from a Suno song, a melody or mumble in your voice memos, or something you heard and loved out in the world… chop it up and drop it into the Sample feature!
How to use Sample:
Right-click on any sound in your Suno library, and choose Sample this song from the Remix/Edit options. Then, trim your selection, add lyrics, type in a style prompt, and dial in the details with the Advanced Controls.
**Tip: **the Audio Influence slider determines how much your sample will impact the new song generation. Don’t be scared to turn it all the way up!

Upload your own music and shape how v5.5 responds to your prompts.
Add at least 6 tracks from your catalog, name your model, and a few minutes later you’ll have a personalized version of Suno that knows your sound.
✨ My Taste
My Taste learns the genres, moods, and references you keep coming back to, then uses that to guide your generations when you hit the Magic Wand in the **Styles **field.
The more you create, the more Suno starts to speak your musical language!
A few quick notes
- Personas is now Voices, and all of your previous voice and style personas are already waiting for you in the Voices tab.
- Everything you could do with Personas before is still available. The name has changed, but the existing functionality is still there.
- Voices and Custom Models are live for Pro and Premier subscribers.
- My Taste is live for all users.
⚠️ Important: Your Voice is private to you by default. When you publish a song or share it by direct link with Remix or Cover enabled, others will be able to Remix/Cover using your Voice.

Share what Spring sounds like to you
Suno has launched a new playlist contest series that encourages artists to support the music that inspires them on Suno!
This will take place in the form of seasonal curated playlists!
For the Spring Edition of this contest, five winners will be selected and featured on the Suno website and @sunomusic Instagram page. Submissions are accepted through May 17, and winners are announced on May 21.
