Okay, I think there are a lot of good improvements here. I now get the story being told. Guy needs money, but can't get anything other than being a clown. Is laughed at because he's a clown, but not because he's being a good, funny clown, because people are mocking him. He has resentment building up. The part where you're losing me is where the people will 'fall from shame'. The line doesn't really land for me or communicate a coherent idea. My best guess is it implies some kind of self harm in the future that they would feel shame about causing? But there's not enough meat on that bone for me to latch on. I care about the clown in this song, I don't care about the people mocking him. What do you want me to feel about this clown? It needs to invoke the motion, not tell the emotion. Use some abstraction here. Tell a story. Maybe establish a setting (a dressing room, him looking into a mirror applying makeup?), and then something happens (he goes to work, does a good job as a clown, doesn't get laughs, gets mocked, gets laughs...). Try to think of it like you're building a music video, then transcribe those things into lyrics either directly, or abstract them through metaphors. Try to pick words that make the listener feel an emotion through a relatable experience.

This is kind of tricky. Maybe just use more words per line? It's up to how you want to balance the track, this is a hard topic. Fewer words per line can be more emotional, I would use that in a first person context, but you need to use very clever words to communicate ideas that way. For an example of this, I'd say check out Something in the Way by Nirvana. Slow delivery, but it really evokes something. Good for sad songs. The more words you add, the more your words actually have to communicate a story and have some intelligent ideas behind them, because there's less emotion deliveryed on each word. It's a balancing act. I write rap, so I'm not really good at writing short lines.
