Ultra isn’t needed to not have the upper hand. I run on medium settings and I still have shadows and grass, even on the low preset I still have shadows and grass. On PC you have to specifically turn those settings off yourself

From what I have gathered some Russian group going by the name of style squad reborn is hitting Bl back end with a botnet of about 7k+ devices and that doesn't include other groups that are also attacking with them.
I am sure Bohemia interactive is trying their very best on getting this issue resolved since it has been happening for about a week now.

There are, probably, but I don't know what the state-of-the-art is WRT blocking DDoS of what could be (I have no idea) a custom protocol. They also take time to implement. Also, you need these measures taken far enough upstream from you that they don't just end up taking down your ISP/data center.
