im here for the shapes, lines grids, pretty colors and booms going off everyonce in a while as im seeing which bot is bleeding out the fastest and why
I'd suggest downloading better mods for doing that then.
A handful of those errors are because they have "pick up" actions on things that aren't even inventory items.

scripts open instantly on smaller mods, but larger ones takes aaages for me to access the script when alt tabbing
I guess you could temporarily disable all dependencies except the actually required mods but that isn't a solution
getting the vietnam mods to not completely disable world editor, its pretty much all or nothing with them. they're all codependent in ways I don't want to deal with, but thats the point.
Set workbench install dir, mod dirs and game dirs as exclussion on windows antivirus.

It works okay once it actually focuses, but I have to wait 20 seconds for it to gain focus and show the cursor

but yeah mods with only a few scripts, instant load, can alt tab out and in type straight away. when mod starts to get more content it can take ages sometimes to be able to type in the script from tabbing in and out

I’m trying to make a backpack that allows you to carry weapon but doesn’t allow you to put it in quick slot, so you have to swap it manually. Is there an easy way to do it or I have to write a script?
getting group 1 replication, reason 1 system failure when trying to boot. Just trying to fix someones gamemode for them, but I'm getting no errors relating to the kick reason. I've tried verifying all the RPL components, switching around a lot of stuff etc, no luck.

you can use Scenario Framework tools for this, but you need to place the spawnpoints yourself. put them all under a Layer (and layer needs to be under an Area) and set the Layer to "Random One" so it will pick one spawnpoint at random. It will be difficult if you don't have any experience so let me know if what I've said makes sense so far
What would cause my vehicles not to drive.. they turn on.. wheels move.. but they dont
I've noticed the FOV is weird when using the Rooikat map, it forces the first person FOV to something like 60 degrees. I've tried a couple of the FOV mods but they don't change anything and adding a new camera manager to my world also doesn't seem to take any effect. Any ideas?
Vaguely remember a map having that issue but im not sure it was rooikat or not. @kindred swan might be able to help answer

Having a problem trying to destroy one of these big fuel tanks, planted 10 explosive charges and nothing, fired over 20 rpg's at it, nothing, fired all missiles from a mi8 chopper aaaand nothing, crashed the mi8 into the fuel tank and it was finally destroyed, but how do i adjust the object health??? I want to blow it up in a mission im making using explosive charges, dont want to have to do a suicide bombing with a mi8 everytime i want to destroy the fuel tank lol
Why would workbench freeze when opening a second instance?
Set the debug port of script editor to anything but the default port

Hey folks. When adding custom items, how do I make it so when that item is in my inventory, the icon doesn't become an extremely low resolution version of the item? It's as if when I pick up the new item, the icon in my inventory turns to mush and is fully blurred, it's difficult to tell what it even is.
Is there a workaround to this? Or a way to prevent this?
It'll be under the inventory component where you alter the name seen in-game. Look for preview settings. Should see something about LOD. Think the default is 1 or 2. Change it to your liking but keep in mind that the LOD is set as it is to increase performance in the arsenal. Many low LOD items can cause lagging and freezing
We've tried that, and tweaked those settings specifically, and it still doesn't fix it - unless we're tweaking them wrongly, or missing something key. The items don't have any actual LOD's created for them, the textures are small and the items themselves are very small, it's just one base texture and that's it. Could that be related?

You can search "warhead" but sometimes I find its easier to put a rocket or shell on the ground, go to collisiontrigger, find the warhead, and if its HEAT you also look at the subminitions like spall and penetrator. For more fun and easier testing stuff you can drop an RPG on the ground, go to the mag in whatever section, then drag and drop any rocket or shell and fire them out of it, also use the sliders below that so it comes loaded with 50 and semi auto.

If you start playing around with bigger warheads, definitely go to the diagmenu, alt + windows key, go to cheats, then the first option you press right arrow key and then you're invincible.

I closed the Resource Browser in the main workshop window and when i reopened it i can no longer go back to the directory where i see all the dependencies added to the project, i can only do it via the resource browser in the world editor. How do i fix this?

What is the probability that the next update will improve the use of the workbench? I'm talking about the ability to separate the game area screen from the toolbars for easy transfer to another monitor, as well as deeper keyboard shortcuts for each action on the workbench, especially in the world editor. I really want to get these simple, but at the same time very useful updates.

The manual override won't work. Add them through the entity item configs.

You will see folders for FIA, US, and USSR. Go into the folder of the faction you are trying to add the items to. In there you will see a handful of .conf files. You are looking for InventoryItems_EntityCatalog_[FACTION]

Try publishing again later - Workshop is timing out
It's been days of not being able to publish a new mod or update an existing mod. Nothing's changed on my end, it uploads to 100% then gets stuck at publishing until it fails. My mate had to use a VPN and do another 10 attempts for it to work, but this option isn't viable for some people.
Have you tried incrementing the version number?
Not yet, it's a new mod so it's at 1.0.0, haven't tried setting to 1.0.1 yet. Never had this issue before with my 14 other mods. I tried unlinking my Bohemia account and relinking but that did jack all. Also created a new GUID. I'll try a different version number when I get home 👍
Solved. Entity catalog in faction manager was set to none instead of items. IF YOUR ARSENAL DONT SHOW NOTHING INSIDE DO THIS OK. PROBLEM SOLVED BY: @prisma nymph thank you so much

So I have a bit of an odd issue. Launching a dedicated Server with a single peer and my peer freezes every few seconds and serverfps shows a drop. I've deduced that when I disable my network adaptor, the freezing stops.... No idea how/why my offline ArmaReforgerWorkbench is affected by my NIC.
Any ideas?

Hey mate, I hypothesized it may be an issue with Arma's CDN or similar they must use. A few modders within our community had issues and I had them try a VPN putting them ina different region and it worked. We're in the OCE Region and they used a vpn to Singapore

How does one edit the headquarters to have the living area back into it? I'm using the WCS mods and their prefabs have them not showing up in the building service from the headquarters. I edited the composition_freerroambuilding.conf but it still doesn't show up when I load in and test.
Is it the auto labels that cause it to not show up?

You can add Clear Area tasks but those lack the capture progress bar from campaign mode and other stuff. But seems to be the way to go for you.

Very much learning your mods and systems sir, been modding dayz since it was able to be modded but the new enfusion engine is something else... pretty much learned all your other mods 🙂 please may i ask a question about the shop system? i have all the zel banking system working, create account, get bank card and withdraw/deposit all working, added the zel components. but when using ADM_ShopSystem and trying to call for ZelCashpayment, the shop shows required amount but wont let me purchase.. also i noticed the wallet and account widgetui from shop system doesn't show my characters wallet or account amount.. i have been into the zel banking/storage test worlds and the shop system test worlds to try and get it all working together but failed, the closest i got was the shop system wallet was showing my carried amount when holding zel cash. @cloud zenith Would it be possible to take 5 mins of your time to get the base set up for shops to work please... i even tried following the wiki but no luck sir

Cash payment requires cash to be in the wallet. I didn't override Adams shop menu to show the account/wallet amount. You can do that yourself. I'll at some point be completely rewriting the banking mod. Just waiting on vanilla persistence to be implemented.
Hi, is there any particular reason why both teams are using the same leader icon?
I was trying to have a nicer ui where each team has their own customized squad leader rank/names but it seems like they are sharing the same rank fields instead of separating it to RU leader/US leader.

Legend thank you, so I was messing about with the 2 mods the other day and I got the cash showing in the wallet up when you open a shop menu but then I changed something and can't get it to show again. I did notice there was a zelshop_ui.c in your mod, does it have anything to do with that as when I looked in to the resource it shows the script says to update cash widget with for adm_shop...

Dear ARMA community,
I am currently creating a custom coop scenario using the Workbench and want to update the "journal" (i.e., the splash screen briefing) at specific points during the mission. For example, my scenario has three main acts, and between these acts, I want to switch to a new journal using Game_Mode_Editor_Full and the SCR_EditorRespawnBriefingComponent to point to the appropriate journal.conf file.
To prepare, I created three different MissionJournal#.conf files, each representing one journal. My question is: how can I, as the Gamemaster, switch between these journals dynamically on demand during a running session?

Everytime i try to create a new spline, a message pops up in the bottom right that says "Nothing traced, creating entity in origin" and then my gizmos are at the world origin, and even i move them to where i need, when i control click to add a new gizmo it doesnt snap to terrain no matter what i do. Anyone encountered this before or have a fix?
I have a question about a prefab and its faction affiliation, how do I get the Faction Affiliation to switch to match the new faction at the start of a new game?
If you place and spawn an object via the hierarchy (area.et → layer.et → slot.et) and assign the 'object to spawn' in the component called SCR_ScenarioFrameworkSlotBase of the slot, you will see a checkbox option called 'Faction Switched Objects'. There you can assign another prefab of the appropriate faction. I would not recommend changing prefabs directly, unless you know exactly what you're doing, as it can cause issues.

I'm experiencing an issue with decals when spawning prefabs with a decal as a child.
In the editor/workbench, if I drag the prefab into the scene, the decals don't appear until I move the prefab slightly.
When I run the scene in the workbench, everything works perfectly decals show up as expected.
However, when I upload the mod to test and run the actual game, the first spawned prefab does not display any decals, but all subsequent spawns display decals correctly.
In my case it failed because I was not using the original HQ prefab, using the original solved the problem
Can anybody help me understand how to get PeerTool working in workbench? There is like, 0 documentation on it, it would be extremely helpful right now 
Would anyone know how to make a bunker into a conflict HQ base?
I don't know if HQ bases have any special "settings" attached to them but you could override or duplicate the HQ composition prefab and edit it in World Editor.
Find the bunker you want and click and drag it into the HQ base prefab, making sure it is under the HQ composition hierarchy.
Bear in mind, that the bunker won't edit the terrain ground level and clipping through the terrain may happen, so careful placement has to be a consideration.

I've seen it. In my case it was a prefab that wasn't being properly replicated that caused this. Fixed as soon as I added RPL component to it. At least that was my experiencie

Can you delete, or at least move trees on the Everon map, without turning every tree of that type off. I’ve tried everything I can think of. Any help would be amazing.
You can't modify the default terrain it is locked.
One way around that would be to copy the entire Everon default folder into a new subscene in an empty Everon.ent
This is a massive undertaking and not recommended if you want to remove one tree.

I regularly encounter a problem when publishing my mods to the Workshop via Arma Reforger Tools / Workbench.
Each time I try, I get this error:

Error Code: 524 - 5xx not implemented

After several attempts (often 3 to 10 attempts, spaced out over time), the upload finally works. But it takes a long time and makes the process unreliable.
I should point out:
My Bohemia account is linked to Steam.
I'm using the latest version of Arma Reforger Tools.
My connection is stable.
The problem persists with several different projects.
Is this a known backend issue? Maintenance or server overhead?
Do you have any recommendations for improving upload reliability?

I'm a total amateur and wanted to check out the workbench but I keep getting the following error:
Even in administrator mode. I've tried opening the basegame from the launcher and an existing project. Both result in this, anyone have a solution?

How do I fix this when the workbench is saying my files are read only? I deleted all of the downloaded, locked versions of my mod and only left the workbench version on my pc. I open my project and the mod folder in the resource browser says its unlocked but if you go into the folder all the subfolders are locked.
Possibly related (since you say you’ve gotten it to work) but It seems the Bohemia backend is having some issues relating to mod uploading atm, this isn’t any fault of your own. For the past 2 days I’ve known several creators fully unable to upload/update mods, hopefully will be fixed soon

the solution I found to get around this error is to download your mods make 1 mods asset a mods core a mods map afterwards if it still doesn't work my solution that worked is to publish if the error appears waits 15 minutes and reesseye every 15 minutes me doesn't close the tool just the publication page you open and closes

I'm encountering a problem with my car disappearing when I try to spawn or purchase it (while playing as a character). The car disappears, and all my belongings are dropped where it spawned and are only visible in Game Master mode.

I don't believe you can remove or go downwards on anything already built in without having the original files for it. thats what I've been told. You can build up though, whatever room is still available kinda thing.
Yes you need to open the Everon terrain and copy all entities. Then open an empty Everon terrain and paste on same location
That way you end up with a fully customizable version of Everon
Oh man this is fustrating. All my mods have been added to the workbench via the workbench addon folder yet they are still locked on me. I have no idea how to fix this, besides adding my mod to a new project and copying it all back over. Any ideas as to why my mods are still locked in read only mode? This happened after I went into experimental for the first time and it really messed everything up.
This has happened to me when there's a copy of your mod in the Arma Reforger addon folder (not workbench) which happens when you play the game and download your own mods
The solution is to delete the copies from the reforger addon folder (I repeat, NOT the workbench folder)

Hi, does anyone know if it is possible to delete a capture point that is in the locked default layer of the map?

for real why is every single mod that I made read only. Its gotta be some option or something I dont have them downloaded expect for the workbench mods. Has anyone else had this happen? If you fixed it how did you go about it? This is crazy, 1000 hours worth of work just locked for no reason.

When you click "show in explorer" on your locked mod does it actually take you to your workbench addon folder?
Yep it doesn't have a lock on it either like that. Its unlocked on that screen but all the subfolders are locked once I open it.
Are you trying to use your downloaded mods in enfusion? I assume you have added them as dependencies to the map you want to use them on, and have already loaded them into your workbench folder through the addon window?
Once they are added as dependancies, and you save and reload, you should be able to access (click and drag) the prefabs in editor i believe
then its probably the issue i posted a link to earlier, no comments from bohemia on it yet though

Hi everyone! I have a question. Is it normal for an error to occur when trying to import layer files, and for them to not be able to be registered and/or re-imported when copied to the project folder?

Anyone getting the following Error when trying to upload a new mod to Workshop? If so, has anyone found a workaround? I've tried using my VPN, selecting European Countries and haven't been able to get my new mod to upload. I have however been able to get a couple of my mods without dependencies to update without any issues. But if I try and update a mod that has dependencies like RHS or ACE, I get the error.

So if I set up my panels like this and save it as a layout, it doesn't save the position of the panels. FYI the version is in the lower right corner.
mine is up to date always. but yeah my panels and sizes save everytime im pretty sure
it works in version 1.4 (Production) but not 1.6 (Submission).

hey, I'm trying to get my shirt mod to work on ps5 and xbox but either the textures or materials are not exporting properly. The entity shows up in game for ps5 and xbox and moves with the rig just fine, but I get a sketchy white flashing shirt for some reason. Is there a way to fix this? works just fine on pc

yeah. the logs will always show 100s of errors unrelated to your test so don't worry. just make sure to look at the logs relevant to you. But in general you should only worry if you are getting virtual machine exceptions but you'll know when you get it cause it won't let you play

New to the reforger got the start of my map change loading up on my server np an my mission header etc. but for some reason the walls I placed on the map don't show up ingame!? Anyone have any idea what I did wrong on the walls? Is the wrong prefab set? Idk lol
Hi everyone! Could you explain the difference? Some files are registered with a tag, others without. If you delete the meta file and re-register the file with a tag, the tag disappears. I can't find the answer to my question.

Can someone tell me what diff between override duplicate and inherit?
When you override something, you can now edit it like change the model or change the texture
Let’s say you wanted to create a flag of your own for example
You would override the flag and override the texture for the flag
Then apply what you want changed texture wise
If you duplicate, it will go back to its original as all you did was just duplicate it
Overriding a flag isn't making a flag of your own. It's overriding one that already exists. Duplicating a flag and changing it's material is creating one of your own. For instance. If I override the US faction flag to use a new material, everywhere in game that the US faction flag is used, it will have the new material that I applied.
Duplicating the US faction flag and changing it's material, is exactly that. The original still exists and you have a new flag.
Inheritance is a little trickier to explain. All base rifles inherit from a base rifle prefab that contains the basic components for a rifle, these inherited rifles then have meshes, animations and sounds and such added to them and are named accordingly, examples are "M16_Base" or "AK_Base"
The M16 and AK base prefabs then have prefabs that inherit from them for different variants. Generally with different attachments and such.
It's pretty easy to explain when you think of it literally in what the words themselves mean

And overriding the US flag to use a different model still isn't "making your own flag" g. It's still the US flag with a different shape.
It's been like that for me for about 2 weeks now. I cannot upload larger mods, no matter how many times I try, it always returns the timeout error. Very annoying.
i've been able to bypass the error with a VPN connected to other countries for the most part but today its been having some really weird behavior
usually it'd go to 100% then fail, today its consistently failing or getting stuck at around 30% or less
even bought a VPN today to try out multiple other countries, no dice - has failed 30+ times lol

Is there any current up to date guide to hosting a dedicated server on Workbench for "real" MP testing? Further, is there any up to date guide with using PeerTool? I've tried both, but I've had no success in finding up to date guides recently.
Nothing has changed for either of those, I've been using the same settings since the beginning, other than changing to the diag executables.
Is anyone able to login to the experimental version and workbench? I can login on the bohemia website but not in the workbench

This is something we are aware can occur and we are working on solution for the future.
The issue is not on user side and what you can do is to repeatedly try until it works.
It's been repeated over and over here on discord.

Only thing is to hope that the VPN trick will work for you. Which is not always reliable as if the whole system is overwhelmed then it won't work in any case.

I just askedin enfusion generic, glad I looked here. I use Mullvad VPN and have been able to successfully push updates (daily for the past two weeks) using Germany or France, but now I have ran through 10 countries with no luck. I'm not trying to complain more than others likely already have, but it's been over a month. This should be fixed by now.
Yep. The dont make an actual official statement but expect that “everyone knows” over a month after the issue began and nothing has improved 1 single iota.

Hey so I don’t play arma but I realized it’s probably the best way for me to be able to test some camo patterns I’ve made (someone recommended this idea given I don’t live in the environment I designed them for) , is anyone able to put them on some clothing models and test them in game? (I can’t because I don’t play arma and I can’t mod stuff into it if I did as I don’t use PC)
How do I configure the quick slots? I've added the inventory item but it is only in the inventory storage which makes sense. But what if I want to automatically replace the entrenching tool (currently 0) with a different gadget?
EDIT: I FIGURED IT OUT. This helped a lot: #enfusion_scripting message
Find the SCR_CharacterInventoryStorageComponent on the character and do component.StoreItemToQuickSlot() . Hope this helps someone else.
💡 TIL: That you can collapse or expand a MultiList array tree and ALL its children in the Workbench by holding SHIFT and clicking on the little blue arrow next to the item. 💡 This was driving me crazy for the longest time 😂
So if you need to collapse all the child items in a MultiList, you can hold Shift and click the arrow to collapse it, then release shift and click it again and all the child lists are closed 🙂
is there any way to use include's in these EntityCatalogs like InventoryItems_EntityCatalog_US.conf? Some of these files are getting huge and it would be nice to split them up into smaller files and just include them in the main file.
If you also click on the arrow to expand it, while pressing shift then all the entire child tree will be expanded

just a warning, there was a rumor that the mod was removed for containing "malware", but i looked through it and didnt see anything malicious, but just be careful and understand the code before you run it
my drive by mod is going to be a bit different from the original one. instead of a seat you can switch to you'll be able to lean out of the car with Q and E. but what you sent did help with understanding the prefab stuff

I agree, it’s definitely frustrating. It’s just the fact to I only pay for a VPN in order to be able to upload and even that doesn’t work now.
Again it strikes again. What am I doing that certain folders in my mod are showing locked. I cant edit them but other folders are unlocked. Is this a error in the workbench or a me thing??
I haven't even uploaded this one yet and it did it so it's not that I have it downloaded in the addon folder.

well I just added -addonDownloadDir "C:\Users\KCRen\Documents\My Games\ArmaReforger\addons" -addonDir "C:\Users\KCRen\Documents\My Games\ArmaReforger\addons" to steam launch and it unlocked those in the picture. I have diabled one drive all together. It all happened when I went into Experimental for the first time ever. It totally messed all my mods up and my game files. Not sure how you switch between the two without it doing that.

i just duplicated my games addon folder to the workbench folder personally since id rather there be no changes in there unless i changed it
dont have any issues switching between experimental and normal workbench that way, still nukes all my addons if i play the experimental game though
Just wanted to show you A work in progress Air Drop mod I have been working on. you can set up Air drop locations ( as many as you wish ) and define what loot is in what type of air drop e.g high tier mil / building supplies /medical . it picks random location and picks random loot each Airdrop. thanks to parachute mod and Ac130mod for the prefabs

No just a marker prefab. To make sure airdrop was landing at the correct location
I guess it could be tweaked to do that but the core idea was random loot airdrops for multiplayer
Ah nice what are you working on ? It just runs on a timer for e.g every 20 mins a airdrop happens. Will need to look into making it run on GM. I think some scripts would need to be tweaked for that.

Does anyone know why I have a HUD set to "background" yet, it's still showing up over the ammo, settings icons etc. I've tried swapping it to low, I've tried tweaking the Z order settings both in the .layout file and under the settings for it under the SCR_BaseHUDComponent settings, no matter what I do it doesn't work. I managed to send it to back with code, but then it doesn't show on an actual server test, only in workbench.
feeling very dumb here, i can't seem to add more entries like this "by reference", I have another group of ammo types i want added to this SCR_EntityCatalogMultiList, and the existing ones are all blue and reference a specific .conf file, any new entries I add are grey and i have to add all the contents manually

Where are the character prefabs for the USSR Army that have the tan uniforms on? I can only find the ones with Green Uniforms on and i'm working on creating a modern version of USSR and I've used the override function and some of the Green ones are changing and tan uniforms are not.

i can set up via wcs settings the bonus of points for supply so the standart amount is the same but after i think unloading 10 times you get a huge bonus

The error appears when I open the map. I think the game might be trying to render the map on the localhost server, but since it’s server-only, it can’t actually do that. Not completely sure though. Just wondering if anyone else is getting the same issue.

it took me like 10 minutes to figure out how to replace the Mi8 rear PKM turret with a NSV. not all of them are that easy to swap out though... if thats what you meant. You want to put a turrent on a vehicle that does not already have the stuff in place for it? you might be able to copy and paste most of the stuff and then make it work.

Just from memory I'd say you could just add it as a slot to your vehicle. I know for a fact the UH1H armed vanilla has the turrets as independent slots so that is most likely the case for all or most vehicles. If yes just check out the slots and replace the current turret for the one you want. If not just add a new slot and add the turret, and place it where you want.

Setting it to background when it’s set as an info display doesn’t work, lowering its z order doesn’t work, there’s no reasonable way to get it underneath options that regularly pop up on screen, it just makes 0 sense at all

yes override the Vehicles_EntityCatalog.conf of your faction. You will see all of the vehicles available for your faction and you can disable the ones you don't want

Where do I find factions at?
Worked for me once. Now I just cant upload at all. I can upload smaller mods no problem. MY 2GB mod has been unable to be updated for a week.
Best bet is to find a mod that has a new faction created and look at what they all did for it. You will need spawn points, headquarters if its for campaign mode. You can learn a lot about how to set it up by looking at what others have done. Take note then make your own off of what you have observed. There is a few videos on it but I don't think they get too in-depth with what you all need.

Ive had some luck with VPNs, trying different times of day and spamming attempts. Seems to be unreliable. If the issue is with Cloudfare, it seems like a solution to the problem is right in front of them. They’re probably hoping Cloudfare get their act together so THEY don’t have to. I made a sub scene on a map to make it work for the new map and did not edit the mod at all just used their prefabs and now it crashing not 100% sure TBH
If you were just adding prefabs I'd go back through and do it again. Hit play after adding each piece just in case a specific one is causing some sorta issue

My Enfusion Studio is apparently toasted. How I can fully reset it, with the all configurations and stuff? I have reinstalled the app from Steam and removed ArmaReforgerWorkbench folder under My Games.
What currently happens that when opening Enfusion Studio I get into the Enfusion Workbench Launcher where I can select my projects. After selecting any of the projects (mine or others) or creating new one it shows the Enfusion loading logo and after a while the logo disappears but the Workbench window never appears. In task manager I can see that ArmaReforgerWorkbenchSteamDiag.exe is running with 650MB memory allocation and Steam thinks the application is open.
This started happening after I tried to publish to workshop and I got some error that said not all the services are running or something. I closed the error and tried to restart my workbench and now I'm stuck with this...
In Steam try running verify integrity of tool files for the Tools install
also check c:\users\your_name\Documents\my games\ and delete any AF files there, as well as any other HDD it's on.
Im not sure if it saves your workshop info anywhere else,
also make sure your FW/AV isn't blocking it
I did the verify and it reported All 440 files successfully validated. No change.
Removed tools + all folders under My Games and reinstalled the tools. After that I tried to create new empty project (no projects in the project selection since the workbench folder was removed from My Games). No change.
There is no FW/AV warnings happening.
Okay I found that there is additional workbench folder under C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Temp\Arma Reforger Workbench. I removed that now also (and everything else) but no change
Also nothing in Event Viewer
Experimental tools does open without any issues
add it to the startup parameters for the workbench on steam

the uid in the first and second error are different. The first error occurs after pressing "Yes" on the "you're about to upload XX" publish dialog, the second error appears when i ack the error popup from the first one

Did you fix your Workbench loading issue? Sounds like EXACTLY the same thing I had a couple weeks ago. What fixed it for me was removing the Workbench key in the registry. Not in front of PC atm for exact location but I spent hours trying to resolve this issue. Uninstalled/installed, verified integrity…etc. Dumping the key fixed for me. Save or backup your registry AND your projects before doing so.
Is there a way to copy all the prefab components then paste them into another prefab? I'm trying to avoid manually adding the components, I know you can copy+paste the components individually

Anyone know what i could be missing from registering a item in the Command post? I have my prefab created and ive registered it already and also have it added to the entity catalog, however when i go to place / build its no option for it. If i remove/add base item such as mortars from enity catalog, it removes/adds it correctly from the Command tent. Just having issues getting my prefab to register. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I feel like its something simple I'm missing.

Workshop has been acting weird when uploading for the last 2 months. I managed to upload a 350Mb mod today by using a VPN that connected to Japan. I had been trying for the last month or so.
Has anyone had a problem with the peer tool trying to load a mod that hasn't been added anywhere? An error message appears saying that it cannot be found. And it's not needed at all. It's not in my mods or anywhere in the dependencies.

I’m facing an issue where I can’t set the specific date I want in my scenario, it always loads the default date. I tried adding the TimeAndWeatherHandlerComponent to my GameMode.et, but there don’t seem to be any options to change the day, month, or year.
What I managed to do was create an override of the TimeAndWeatherManager.et and set the desired date there. However, the problem is that not all maps load this custom date setting.
Does anyone know how I can make sure the correct date is loaded correctly?

I was using the tool for a long time and this situation never happened to me before. I was using the tool, closed it, and reopened it. Then I tried to load my project, but only the logo appeared, and the window wouldn’t load. I tried with other projects or creating a new one, but it did the same thing. I checked the Task Manager, and in the details section, it showed that it was running, but the tool’s window still wouldn’t appear. I tried several times to uninstall, clear the game’s cache, and delete the contents in the documents folder, but it kept doing the same thing.

I can’t seem to get this fixed, and I wonder if someone can help me figure it out.
When you place a building let’s say an arsenal in Conflict, you get a blueprint that you can build using a shovel.
But when I add a custom prefab to the arsenal, the prefab is already visible when placing the building. So, while the arsenal shows as a blueprint, my custom prefab appears as if it’s already been built.
It’s not a big issue, of course, but it doesn’t look very visually appealing.
Does anyone know what component you need to add to the custom prefab so that it only becomes visible once it’s actually built?
I think I saw disassembly stuff when you select the entire prefab, not sure about the construction

I'm still learning workbench, and I'm trying to modify a workshop map (gulfcoast islands) for a scenario i am working on, that has an area of grass that i want to change to concrete or gravel. Is there a tool to easily do this in the world editor? because I cant for the life of me find one.

In world editor, whats difference between saving the world and "Apply to prefab"? When I save to prefab, the ActionsManagerComponent does not work but it does when I save the world
Anyone know what i could be missing from registering a item in the Command post? I have my prefab created and ive registered it already and also have it added to the entity catalog, however when i go to place / build its no option for it. If i remove/add base item such as mortars from enity catalog, it removes/adds it correctly from the Command tent. Just having issues getting my prefab to register. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I feel like its something simple I'm missing.

I'm facing a strange issue with Workbench.
I recently upgraded my PC — basically the CPU, motherboard, and RAM — then did a clean installation of Windows and updated all the necessary drivers. Classic setup.
After that, I downloaded the Arma Tools and Arma Reforger, created a new project, added a terrain and heightmap, etc. But whenever I try to paint a layer with any texture, the editor immediately crashes. It doesn’t matter which map or texture I use — it just crashes with no explanation. I have no idea what’s going on.
The only clue I’ve found is this: when I paint on a freshly generated flat terrain, it works fine. But as soon as I add a custom heightmap and try to paint a texture, it crashes instantly with the following error:

That's not exactly the character either. You have a skeleton and you have to make a prefab out of the skeleton, just like every item that exists in the game.
I think you forgot the MPChat entity
Without chat you cant log in

you cant create a new skeleton, you must use the reforger standard skeleton and skin your model on it.
So I have to put my skin on a standard skeleton and make a reskin, right?
You can find the Reforger character model with weights in their GitHub. Then you use that character model to weight paint your custom clothes or custom characters

That is not what replication stall is, it does not mean that the Rpl system froze.
nor is caused by that
Replication stall is pretty much the most severe replication issue, it happens when the replication state has been irreversibly corrupted to the point of no return, and that is why everyone gets forced kicked by it
Basically when that happens, pretty much good luck trying to figure out what happened. Source is often not direct or easy to investigate

But it means, something is very badly replicated, or something else external happened.
Could be a wrecked codec doing things conditionally, or some codec callback returning false

e. g. i once had a component that would spawn a lot of characters at once, would cause stalls for some people until i spread the workload across frames

Yeah that was not the reason for the stall, but some cascading of issues on it could have been
as in many entities trying to replicate wrongly, causing state corruption
scheduler should be able to replicate those without issues
yeah it was probably an indirect cause, though i do have a vague memory of giant sphere queries also resulting in stall kicks at some point
