I'm aware - got a few hundred hours in the game. This was a development with the custom / made one.
But it turns out it was OneNote 'using' the folder while I was trying to change it in Arma or manuall in the folders.
Not the only one sadly.

I'm having an issue with my mission displaying this upon loading Specifically with a gamemaster module down.
No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgPatches.babe_am_firedeh'.
Any recommendations, ai during paradrop using rhs infantry paradrop waypoint either detach from their parachutes half way or collide with each other. Anyone know any solutions?

I have enhanced movement loaded, I thought the same earlier and that isn't the fix.
unloading a mod does not remove a dependency, once you made a mission with mod like it or JSRS you're done

Is Arma 3 still dependent on PhysX? I installed the newest nvidia drivers without it (with debloating tool), and getting game crash when I start the game / alt tab, however, only some times.

propbaly missing CUP Terrains - Core or something similiar

most image editor programs can do both individual and linked scaling but youll have to figure out how to use the program

With some trickery using playable units, you can deploy a bipod and switch to the players unit and the AI will still have the bipod down
Looking to have the appearence of AI MG gunners with bipods down to simulate an emplaced position

You can get a hang there with connections issues.
Restart router, restart Windows, make sure you're not running any VPNs.
Another reason I've seen is messing with cpuCount and exThreads

Try if you can use in-game chat, if that works then it's missing mods.

Are you sure it doesn't just gracefully end the binarize task if it doesn't find a p3d file?

I've bot a multiplayer mission I'm testing on my own machine with multiple clients (all on my machine). A week ago this worked fine.
Today, the clients cannot connect. They get kicked after about 1 second, with only the message (player disconnected).
Rtp shows:

ok so I am running antistasi ultimate but it runs horribly even on low settings. for reference, the karmakut server runs fine at ultra/extreme settings at 1080p

everytime i try to boot up arma, i immediately get a status access violation crash when i hit the loading screen, even with no mods enabled, i verified the intergrity of my game files, restarted my computer, fucked with the parameters according to the wiki, and still nothing, i did check the report log and it kept repeating a line every second about something between ace and cba

Hello. Today I was in Vanilla Editor of Arma and I came across a strange behavior regarding Mortars. I have tried to use mortars manually without the in-game artillery computer and with the help of a spreadsheet i found online for calculating. i found out that sometimes for some reason when I calibrate the mortar to hit a target (all the numbers were correct) it actually hit somewhere completely random which was also impossible to achieve with that configuration - exceeding all possible deviations by multiple hundred meters away from target
has anyone also encountered such a behaviour with mortars or artillery vehicles?

no mods, no scripts absolute vanilla i just set up assets on specific coordinates and proceeded to calculate and evaluate
mortar on flat ground, targets on same altitude as mortar really as sterile as it can get on the map but still this discrepancy occured

I for sure had Semi (medium) selected but Arma calculated with Semi (close) the charge i had selected previously on the test for which the angle would actually match up on the marked Rogue Impact

But then whoever made the sheet was surely going by the visible modes.
I did not thoroughly compare the angles between w/ Artillery Computer and w/o Artillery Computer but so far they always seems to be matching withing a couple of hundredth of degrees difference
So they issue seems to be the Fire Mode when selected manually without Artillery Computer does not always get selected as displayed

I'm not sure if this is the right room for this but i have a little problem. For the first time i wanted to try those pop up practice targets but those that are supposed to be swinging from left to right always gets stuck in the right most position and doesn't move. What could be the problem?
where are you trying them?
just placed them on the ground as they are, saved mission, started it and this happened, in editor they are swinging normally but once the mission is started they get stuck
Hi, currently having an issue when running the SOG Prairie Fire DLC where I can't select units as zeus and the UI isn't fitted properly to the screen. Originally thought it was a conflict with ace, but the problem persists with no mods active. I've had the glitch before, but it went away after a few relaunches and I was able to play with no issues. However, this time no matter what I do I can't get zeus to work.
Curious if anyone else has encountered such a bug before

Hi, currently I've been attempting to use the Antistasi plus mod on altis, but for the longest time I keep on getting the same error of "Deprecated Mission" and my arsenal won't work at the start of the game. Is there an updated version of the mod or game I need to install, or is there some other way to fix this?
Read the text. You're running a non-mod mission together with an Antistasi mod.
Probably means you're just picking the wrong mission on the selection screen.
The only thing I see and click on the selection screen is "Antistasi Scenerio"
I selected Antistasi Plus as an avaliable mod but it won't work after that

Antistasi mods don't support singleplayer directly. You need to go to multiplayer -> host server.

i deleted these two , and also deleted launcher folder from steam apps coomon arma , steam cloud saves are disabled and it still managed pull out second profile from somethere , just realized where is alos the green line gona delete everything again

i deleted all 3 folders from appdata and these two arma folders from documents , also launcher folder from steamm apps common arma , second profile still exists

one guy trying to join my dedicated server is having an issue where the player slots arent appearing when he joins, it works for everyone else and he has all of the correct mods

Arma generates a .rpt log file each time it's run, which contains a lot of information like the loaded mods, or any errors that appear, this log file can be very useful for troubleshooting problems.
To get to your RPT files press Windows+R and enter %localappdata%/Arma 3

I dont how common this issue is but, Whenever I load in to a server, no other players can see me, I cant interact with anything from objects, vehicles or players. We all use the same Modlist but im the onl;y one experiencing it, Ive fresh installed the game, Mods, and my TS but nothing seems to resolve it. Ive switched to different accounts and there is no change
It was working finr earlier tonight when I initially logged in as zeus but after a short while of player loading in it stopped updating their interactable unit icons, and begun the process of me being soft locked out of interactiong with anything
not sure how first is related to second... editable objects don't update themselves automatically unless a specific mission setting is enabled. If you're using Zeus Enhanced then there's a module or context option that lets you add new editable objects to the "list".

I have an irritating little thing that is driving me crazy. Whenever I'm in a gunner seat using the optics (Both vanilla AND DLC) my mouse movement becomes sluggish and unresponsive, as it it ain't registering half of my inputs.

Stable branch and I have smoothing off. I don't have ANY issues flying driving or walking, It's legit ONLY when in a gunner seat

can you switch to performance branch and see if this still happens (with no mods), maybe it's some bug no one noticed before and/or could be already fixed
also I know that old games could start behaving weird when frames were too high, maybe this is the case too? While it would be something new for me in Arma 3 I wouldn't be surprised at the same time. Or FPS too low and if there's smoothing applied to turrets, your low FPS make it behave like that. Can't tell on what framerate you're sitting in that video

I did some more testing. It ONLY happens when I'm not zoomed in. And.. a drone works fine? It's ONLY in the most zoomed out mode inside a gunner optic.

It's this really specific case when it's happening too which makes this even more painful to troubleshoot.
do you have any custom parameters defined in Launcher? Maybe toggle them all off just for the sake of debugging

my friend and I are on the antistasi plus - takistan scenario and when we try to change our equipment in the default arsenal, it resets back to what we had when we first spawned, even if we try to save and load the loadouts. any ideas on why this happens and how to fix it?

if you think it's a bug and not your fault (e.g. wrong mods loaded) then maybe report it to the author instead of crying? This channel is for troubleshooting not whining.
that reupload of this scenario (original was taken down probably because OG creator does not support it anyone) was updated two years ago, however I can see livestreams of people who played it just a few months ago with no issues reported so perhaps it's not the scenario that is shit.
procedure of troubleshooting "shit" scenarios is as follows -> make sure if you have only the mods required (or none if not needed), a properly configured MP environment and both host and client mods are 1:1. If it continues, try it again local-hosting to rule out an issue with one of you being a host. If it still persists, open the RPT file and look for any warnings or errors that might be relevant. If it's an error caused by one of your mods, you know what to do. If it's an issue with the scenario, report it to the creator and find something else to play.

Close the Arma launcher and run a steam verify on Arma. Might be a lower-level issue than that though.

In details: How do I change the addons settings to make them work correctly on the game server?
From editor everything works, addons settings correspond to SERVER, MISSION AND CLIENT and it goes, loading the pbo on the server changes everything and you can't modify them, what to do to overcome this problem?
Is there anything to change or add? A script, a description, an init, a user_config, cba_settings or nothing at all?
Or is the solution simpler than we think?

Does anyone know of an issue/fix to the ACE interaction menu going missing? I don't have any weird RPT file messages on the server. The interaction menu just goes away for some players after some time.
Try with only CBA and ace loaded.
If works ,
Try to find a mod that breaks your interaction menu.
Or make sure you are using the rightplayer profile that has the interaction keybing properly configured.

You put the bikey files of the mod (just the files) in the keys folder of the server. If that doesn't exist, make one named 'keys'.
There is like 200 mods do I put the bikey file in each individual mod?

If your server management tool doesn't do it for you, then yes!
The error suggests that whatever you are trying to start, it tries to modify/create/extend files in the install folder of Arma 3. As it is in the protected Program Files folder where Steam install into by default. You can try to run the launcher temporarily as administrator. Maybe it needs to do something with Battleye. I would not go online with a launcher started as administrator or start the game as administrator and go online with that. Might even be best to not load any mods while you do that. Games generally don't need administrator priveleges. There is a risk a hacker might abuse as of yet unkown vulnerabilities. Best not give it free reign on your system.

I don't even know how you arrange that. Basically the launcher doesn't have permissions to access Arma but you do.
But then the launcher should have the same permissions as steam, which should be the same permissions as whoever launched Steam.

No mods. Latency is ok, ran mtr both ways several times, no losses on the route. Server resources are barely touched.

Has anybody ever had an issue where you can't exit first person perspective after controlling a unit with zeus?
The rear wheels of my vehicle are WAY in the air, and bounces around when i first spawn it in; haven't touched the memory lod/land contact.
Nor the config file from the test car from arma 3 samples.(it all looks right)
I'm new to all this; got it to drive though after it stopped bouncing, but the rear end is still floating.

That error doesn't just happen when the keys are not found, that log message says the server didn't load any pbo's, or all pbo's loaded are server-side only mods. There is something more wrong.
Maybe keys missing break other stuff too, we should fix that then
My keys folder was empty. I was following method 3 here https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Arma_3:_Dedicated_Server, but didn't copy the keys to the new folder after creating it.
I don't have the logs right now, but I'll reproduce and generate a new one for you later today, since now I know what's causing it.
But there wasn't anything weird in the RPT from what I could tell. After someone connected, it would spam the "player has no identity" (or something like that) on STDERR, and show the data compression warning on STDOUT. Then the client got stuck on the map and couldn't vote missions or login.
It sends a message to the client, and waits for a response before letting them in.
When it prints that error, it skips sending the message, and then waits for a response to something that was never sent.
I don't understand how missing keys can cause this.
If you don't have logs thats fine then I'll try to repro it myself

Well my access violation was solved, took to a repair shop and they told me my SSD and CPU were borked and got them replaced. Wonder how it got like that I don’t play much besides Arma 3 and a few older games

Corrupted file sounds logical, which could be a bad SSD, and could explain why only Arma would be affected. But bad CPU?...
It happened with edge and Arma 3 access violation, got it back yesterday installed my units mod list and everything ran perfectly.
I think the last unreliable-at-stock-speeds CPU I saw was a 1.4GHz Athlon that'd been running at 90C for far too long.

The preNLOD message is generally corrupt mod data.

Hello, I have recently lost my 'bombing crosshair' from my planes. I changed my FOV settings and ever since I dont see the bomb crosshair anymore.

The game opens without battleeye normally.
I tried open it as an administrator and put steam and arma 3 to administrator rights, tried to find error through clicking on steam check files, run it without antivirus defender and deleted files from battleeye but nothing changed. This problem occurred like one week ago.

Other things you can try: Delete the arma_x64.exe, close the launcher, then do a steam verify/repair.
Also try switching to perf/profiling branch.

Hello! From time to time I have an issue where during the process of zeusing an operation, most of my modules will stop working. I place the module, and the icon appears but does nothing.
It seems to be random when it occurs, but I can sometimes recreate the issue by placing a large number of units or objects on the map. However, doing that does not always cause it.
I have experienced this with the vanilla respawn position module, KAT medical's modules, ACE's heal module, things like that. Does anyone else ever get this or have any advice?
Make sure the game is set to Fullscreen Windowed resolution. Then it works better with Alt Tabbing. (But no garuantees) As for this case, consider it lost and revert to the previous persistent save.
You probably could have fixed it by just opening your profilename.arma3profile file with notepad or whatever and remove the 2 FOV lines. (and nothing else) Then it would have replaced the default values.

I’ve been stuck on loading adding repeatedly for half an hour repeatedly my mods a not corrupted and I verified integrity files as well. My ping is 170 which is not bad since I am in Korea joining American servers wether it’d be mods or vanilla servers I still wait for a long time and then when I load in Arma 3 it freezes for 2 minutes and runs fine for 10 mins and then does it again. I feel like it’s my CPU or mods but anything helps please .

Hello all, relatively new to ARMA here and have been experiencing consistent game freezes for the past 2-3 days of playing now. Playing single player Antistasi with mods which was stable until the freezing began randomly around Thursday of last week. Found "No alive in XXXXX ms, exceeded timeout of 10000 ms" multiple times in the latest troubleshooting report. Any help is greatly appreciated
Here's a photo of the aforementioned error log, the timeout messages are the end of the log so I'm just assuming they are directly related to whatever is causing the freeze/crash. %localappdata% also has numerous MDMP files with "FROZEN" in the file name
IIRC those message are some sort of AI routine taking much longer than expected. If it's freezing then I guess there's an infinite loop.
Doesn't help you though. Maybe strip your modset down to the minimum.

if your router does not support that, you're out of luck. You can check that if you google your router name + upnp or log into its admin panel and see if there are any relevant settings.
if you don't have it, you have to go the long way of configuring ports (and having IPv4 which also is not common, at least not in Europe), or host through hamachi/radmin.
and to make sure you can't join because of your router settings, not mods, host a completely vanilla server first. There is no 3den editor "multiplayer" unless you use a specific mod for that, then troubleshoot your issue with the mod maker
I found the problem.
We only process pbo's that are registered into a key checking thing, but if there are no keys, the key checking thing never loads and thus no pbo's in there.
And it cannot handle there being no PBO's.
There is actually a log message for it, but only in internal builds 😄
The stupid thing about this, it doesn't actually even need the bikey files. It can extract the bikey from any bisign file for any pbo.
So it does have the keys, and there is even code to extract them but somehow it refuses to work

Ah it can read them from bisign, but the "Keys" folder is just a "accepted keys" whitelist. And it ignores all bisigns that don't have a key in keys folder

Clients will just not care and load from bisign anyway, just so they get some bikey for each pbo.
But there is specifically a check for dedicated server to not do that.

Im not getting any error codes, I try to load in the game and it will not get past the very first loading screen. Just goes black and I have to end it through TM which it will then take 10-15minutes to actually close even when going to Steam and hitting "Stop". Also I am 3 days into using a PC ever so excuse me for not just diving right in with my problems

Ok, unless you have -nologs parameter enabled in the launcher it should create an RPT log file which might shed some light on the issue. Follow the hint in the following bot response to locate where it is. Please upload the most recent file where you experienced this in. It had time and date in the filename.

Not even sure where to begin with this question but every time I try to load into a custom server of any sort I get error messages like game assets aren't being loaded. None of the mods need to be repaired and I did the check file integrity through Steam so I'm confused
Make sure you don't have any mods enabled in the launcher before you join a server through it's server browser. Then when you join a server let it download all the needed mods. Servers can refuse you if you have mods enabled it doesn't want/know about.

see if that crashes
that way you might be able to see if its the other mods at all or some probelm with the mission itself
(it is likely issue with some extra mod you have)

I'm playing antistasi, so it would likely be very difficult to recreate whatever is causing the game to crash
given that it's not a linear mission, I mean
well you have said it seems to crash relatively fast
so just play it for time and see if it crashes or not

It's the correct approach anyway. Reduce modset to required mods, which for Antistasi means whatever is required for your factions, plus ACE and map mods if used.
If it doesn't crash then the issue's somewhere in the other pile.

You do need to load whatever mods were required for the factions you're using, but that's normally closer to three than 64.
For the other stuff you'll get a few blank entries in the arsenal but it won't cause a problem.

Antistasi persistent saves are stored in your profile's profilename.vars.arma3profile file. And it might contain data from other scenarios, mods and arsenal loadouts. Just keep a backup of the file. But remember that reverting to the backed up file means loosing whatever was in it before that.
Plus forces the new save method which would be AntistasiPlus.vars.

I had cup for my main faction, and rhs as invaders, but am only playing rebels vs occupants
had dome some reading in the past that they don't create game crashing issues though, just balance stuff
Also it's a massive increase in load time and arsenal spam if you load both.

If you run out of memory then a lot of things like that happen. Not sure about the T-posing though.

Not fixable, editing with notepad has deleted tons of content from it because notepad couldn't handle it.

I'm having an issue with 3CB factions: the mod causes the game to crash on launch, giving the error STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION.
Now, the weirtd part is we've been using 3CB F. for years without an issue; I even launched the game two days ago with no problem.
I can launch the game fine with the rest of my unit's modpack loaded, as long as I unload 3CB factions. There haven't been any updates to the base game or to the mod itself, and I haven't changed anything on ;my pc afaik.
Some people online seem to mention memory leak issues with the mod, but I wouldn't know how to fix it.
I verified the game files, updated my Nvidia drivers, still crashing.
I woudn't know how to change the memory allocator either

I'm having a problem in my community with the most recent mission we put out. I have reports from around five individuals of the generic error "0xC0000005 - ACCESS_VIOLATION" and "0xC000041D - STATUS_FATAL_USER_CALLBACK_EXCEPTION". The error occurs randomly throughout play whether an hour in or less. One of these users is crashing several times per hour. I have tried investigating it but i, as well as those in my dev team, do not have this issue.
I have an RPT and mdmp files. I haven't been able to parse anything from the rpts themselves. As i understand it only BH can look at these mdmps? I can collect additional files if necessary.

A list in memory got messed up. I already know there is a bug elsewhere that uses that same list code and also sometimes corrupts. But I have no repro or ideas how it happens.

Its only happening to a minority so its hard to really say whats up. walking them through some steps listed on the wiki that may help
If it's what it sounds like then that can be pot luck. Like there's some code that's always corrupting something, but usually you get lucky and it hits non-critical data.
Given that Arma is usually fairly stable, but you have five players tripping on one mission, that may mean that the mission is exercising some code that doesn't often run.
A full dump might help (profiling branch with -debug start parameter)
But, I don't have the time to look through it
i downloaded some scenarios called sniper alley and creeping death,they are downloaded but the launcher doesnt see it

hey I just installed teamspeak with the Arma3Helper from ninelore then I ran the helper again but I got the error teamspeak is not installed can someone help me?
Anyone ever lose the ability to use end or del in the map or Zeus?
For what action ? I use del to setup the speed limiter when driving

Never had the issue myself, but some markers can't be deleted by Zeus (mainly the markers set in editor)
It's even markers I place myself.
Try switching zeus slot when it happens, always solved my problems before when Zeus bugged (can't control AI, place anything, etc)

interesting. so I should note that all this was happening in the dynamic combat ops scenario and it would promt "saving game" when approching the AO then it would crash. Went back to the original game build in steam and had all the default parameters and no more crashing... but the game runs like poo now like it's 2013 lmao

the game is stuck in 2013 tbh. But in that case it means there's something wrong with perf branch, it was updated recently so perhaps something got broken again
stable might be running worse because it has used ram limited to some silly value, and probably other things that performance branch features. You might want to get that mdmp from perf branch crash sent to Dedmen through DMs or something so he can look into it after the weekend
It should be noted too that this was NEVER and issue in mp on long flights. Just wanted to try SP missions and boom this shit

Anybody know about this Zeus bug? Never had anything like this happen to me. Here are the list of problems I am currently experiencing
- Can't Ctrl+Shift+C and Ctrl+Shift+V to place units down. It just won't work, it'll make the sound of me ctrl+v'ing it but it won't actually do it.
- I am locked out of a majority of the zeus options such as teleporting players, making people invincible, ect.
- It only happens after a couple minutes of me using zeus, and then the problems start.
aren't these shift keybinds a mod thing, like Zeus Enhanced or something? Maybe it got (or has been from the start) buggy. Can you replicate this in singleplayer? And without mods

yesterday two people came with the same issue (sp saving causing crash) and it was tied to them running the performance exe of the game, it's okay on stable.

Have tried running a defalt arma 3 mission, have tried reinstalling every single file on the server, i've also tried reinstalling it on my side to see if it was a problem there
Then compare if your client is running the same mods as the server.
Compare the tables in the RPTs, telling the game/server to start with them through launcher/commandline paremeters doesn't mean they are actually working/found.
Plenty of people end up with tables mentioning nothing is found in the mod folders specified.
But you probably won't find the cause if you don't know what mod is adding those keybinds.
Every time a scenario gets auto-saved (ex: Extraction from WS/ Old man from Apex) the game closes and hits me with "STATUS-STACK-BUFFER-OVERRUN"

Stable branch is limited to 4GB by default so it can run out, but just a map with no entities wouldn't normally need more than that.
is it a bug or a feature that adaptive vsync does not work in Arma 3? I thought I did something wrong but I tried applying the setting (through nvidia control panel) both for arma3.exe and arma3_x64.exe and I still get frames way over my monitor framerate.

ok i was playing around with mods when it crashed since then even running in vanilla i would get the launcher then click play from there it does a pump fake which seems like it would run but the screen will only tun black i could see geforce launch but even after waiting more then 20 minutes nothing happens

That only checks that every file is there and has the right weight, logically if you have a corrupted file it will have a different weight than normal but it's possible that the change is so tiny it doesn't change the weight of the file

it fixed the bug some people have with "continue." not being added infront of saves so you can't resume scenarios/campaigns
it basically automated this process for you

MP Bug:
If Stomper RCWS is placed by zeus, it can be driven by him from the gunner controls.
Other players cannot drive from gunner controls.
Workaround: Taking driver controls, waiting a while until it reacts to WASD, taking gunner controls, now its drivable.
Problem about it: Modded remote controllable vehicles, where driver is not meant to be available, but only gunner controls, are unusable if given to players by zeus. 😔
Question: Is this fixable by scripting/cfg editing, or can this be fixed by an update at some later point? 🤔

So I was getting a insufficient memory error in the launcher after clicking Join and sellect mods screan..(error happens at this point)

Its probably worth mentioning what the error message said, instead of just saying "game crashed"

any mod can break the game, depends on use case
if your game doesn't start then just check what each mod does instead of loading random shit, start from being a purist and play with only the required/recommended stuff, then you can add minor clientside things. "engine" overhauls are a no-go usually unless you play stuff designed specifically for them

i made the mistake of adding a shet load of mods at once
because i wanted to do some battles around the entire world on different maps based off modern-modernish factions

maps can be incompatibile with eachother, mods generally can be incompatibile, that's why you shouldn't "Skyrimize" especially if you don't want to spend weeks on verifying the compatibility and being up to date with the game

I make mod presets in the launcher for specific scenario mods, or servers if they keep playing the same base stuff. Then make variants of it if it needs different mods. Like a CUP factions variant and RHS variant or RHS+3CB variant.
Unloading all mods is just a single click. And selecting the mod-preset is just a choice in a pull down list. Easy peasy.
so if i want to use a faction i can make a preset including all the requirements to play it, also prob have a mechanic/effects mod as my general visuals and sounds i run

The scenario determines which classes of faction stuff are used in the game. But if the faction mod isn't included, you will never see it in game.
like if i wanna play finland v russia ill have a preset for both those factions by their time period, and maps that fit them in their own presets

You can load all the faction mods you want. If the scenario insists on throwing vanila factions on you then that is what happens.

Unfortunately the launcher unloads the mods you enabled when you chose another mod preset from your list. You can't merge them easily by say load a terrain mod set first, then select a faction mod set and have them both stay in the list.

Manually select mods when you want to make a new combo of mods. And not give in to selecting all but being picky.

becaue some people tend to just move mod folders to the Arma 3 directly, and then have no idea they are automatically loaded in the game (and can cause issues)

i reneabled the cpu core count and the additionalt threats
worked with them

it's not the game's fault anyway, especially that everybody else can see server lists just fine. Add Arma 3 to firewall's exception list (as in to the list with all apps and checkboxes which connection types are allowed) and see if it works again. Or just disable firewall at all and check for the same.
if it's brand new then it is highly possible you had a popup from Windows Defender regarding whether you allow the game to connect in public/private networks and you either deselected everythhing or just closed the window without confirmation

I'm having an issue with the launching of the game, it pops this up and I've waited like 30mins and it hasn't launched. I had this issue before and just reinstalled it, I'm on a new computer, so it may be a setting issue with that.
new issue, it allowed me to open the launcher and now this is happening, this was the issue before the reinstall and I attempted to fix it by reinstalling the game.
it seems like it cant install the VC redistributable right so youll likely have to manually install it
there is a wiki page for unusual process exits where that 00000135 is given few fix suggestions
installing the redist was one of them if I recall right
okay, I'll try reinstalling with no mods subscribed to, then that, then I'll chock it up to Arma hating my new computer. Because I just tested it and War Thunder works
I think its a very specifc issue on the install of that particular windows package that fails with Arma3 install
and Warthunder likely does not need it so it runs fine
