Downloading mods isn't an barrier to a server, having a server worth joining is the barrier.
Making the base game 500 gigs with optional unlocks is quite silly. A lot of people don't purchase DLCs let alone CDLC, So it's punishing the millions of players for what? Server convenience? Future download experience, which both download the mega mod pack anyways - it's just up front.

That's a bit misleading though. Every time this argument's been brought up, it's never been about integrating ALL the DLCs. Only the Armaverse ones that not only fit nicely into vanilla's asset roster but are designed specifically for the mid 2030s setting in mind (Western Sahara/Reaction Forces/Expeditionary Forces).
Bearing in mind that as of now, WS+RF combined only adds 8.52 GB which is only just slightly larger than CSLA (8.40 GB). It's not even close to GlobMob (34.9 GB), Spearhead (28.8 GB) or SOGPF (35.7 GB).
But of course, this is all beating a dead horse. BI's already ruled it out a long time ago and it's not going to change no matter how many times it gets brought up every time a new Armaverse CDLC gets added.

Jack frost showed up in the middle of the night with an AC-130 and delivered all the presents.

Scenarios in there are stored in a different place from your editor stuff. I don’t remember the file location, but if you look around in your arma 3 files on your pc or do some research, someone had probably given a better answer than I can. Good luck 😁

Subscribe to CUP Terrains - Maps (and dependancy mod CUP Terrains - Core) or a more modern version CUP Terrains - Maps 2.0 (and whatever dependancies it needs) And then you can create or look around on it in the eden editor. You still need to find a scenario on the workshop for it though, for either singleplayer or multiplayer (which you can host locally on your lan for solo investigation) Disregard, was tricked into thinking for Arma 3.
But servers determine what terrain mods it plays on, you can't force that.

There was a bug that apparently limited A3's RAM usage, but it got fixed recently
So the game can use much more RAM now. (Correct me if I'm wrong)

If you approach a community which already has its own server, discord and TS. They aren’t going to want to move all of their players over to your server for one or two sessions. Your expectations are going to meet reality on this one. And if you want people to play your missions exclusively in your server, go make a community and advertise it.

I’m telling you this from experience, you are asking creatures of habit to break their routine and people won’t do it. It’s how it has been; people will see your server as competition to theirs. It’s just how it is.

You need to use either UPnP, your router must support that. Or otherwise you need to manually port forward UDP protocol portrange 2302-2306 to the LAN/local IP of your server.
Then find out what the external address is of your router on the internet. And let your friend connect to that.
And you need to make sure your firewall on the server computer allows incomming traffic from the internet to Arma 3.

Not sure what to recommend you. I’ve only played arma 3 and seen bits of reforger. 3 seems to have more stuff to do seeing has it’s had 10+ years to cook and there’s a pretty active community. Not sure about the others, but you can probably find some gameplay of them all on youtube
Be prepared to use every button on your keyboard, and maybe watch a before you buy guide

Landing is about stalling at the last minute. Line up at a near flat angle (don't dive into the airstrip) lower speed, point down to lower ALT and maintain non stalling speed (should be minor, again don't dive), raise speed if you are going to slow and need to dive more. Then as your very close to the runway, pitch up to let the rear wheels hit and bleed the last speed at you plop on the runway - drop speed to reverse, then to zero, apply brakes.
You can use flaps and spoilers as well to get a lower speed or higher angle of attack.

No sudden moves. Don't cut your engine too. Maintain 30-50 % throttle until you are sure you're landing safely

You could have that be the same port number.
IPv4 addresses are 4 sets of numbers 0-255 seperated by dots. Port numbers are a single value between 0 and 65535.

well again when i press view more or whatever the thing goes from 100 to -100
so that wouldnt be the issue its just like not outputting the same as my keyboard

so someone told me about a script i could use on eden to show velocitys
so when i would press lets say the A button on my keyboard it would show up as like 60, when i do the same with the joystick like full pressed over it would show only like 20
but again in the settings it shows 100 to -100
messed with the deadzones and sensitivity in game, only thing i noticed was when i turn down the sensitivity it would be lower but other than that i can find a way to get it 1;1 with keyboard
because i fly transport on koth so if i can manuver i may as well just use keyboard but since i got the stick recenelty id like to use that
btw i am about to leave for a bit to aquire some booze so idk if you are down to try and search for a fix or something but i checked the web

so i dont think its an issue of it being messed up i just dont know how to increase the output
