As I said, the results you got from Perplexity were model hallucinations due to the sources that it pulled. Going back to the official documentation on the PPLX FAQ, there is no mention of an upgraded agentic capability if you set Comet as default.

No wake word unfortunately, however you can create a tasker profile to have both gemini (using power button long press or wake word) and have perplexity assistant wake with a volume long press, I enjoy having both assistant as they both serve a general purpose, I know its excessive, but i have gemini, chat gpt, perplexity, and bixby button mapped hahah
