I mean this isn't anything specific to Comet, you can do this in Edge very easily. same workflow. but having the option to use AI Studio for the text display over the assistant means you have options. I enjoy having the quick access to AI Studio for various context heavy/token heavy content. it just handles anything, specifically images/pdfs/etc. Again not better than the Sidecar/PPLX Assistant, just another workflow we have access to due to Splitview being included.

And honestly, it just looks really nice. they've been giving AI Studio a lot of attention lately in terms of UI. easily the most refined/easy to use "labs/playground" focused site/app/frontend/whatever. not including claude or open AI because I don't really use them these days.

one question I always had was how it affected Spaces' Custom instructions
