is there an issue currently with perplexity - i just signed up to trial the enterprise pro version, i submit an image and ask it to "babify" it (the prompt is much longer and more specific but i feel this should help identify the goals im trying to achieve) - perplexity constantly returns text based responses which i feel are similar to google home "you can do that urself by using photoshop" etc. Is there an issue with it, should i approach support?, am i doing it wrong, i have tried general prompts including those in the docs / kb - like "make this image cubist style" with an image piped into the chat box or also "generate a image of a dog" and also "edit this and make grayscale" - all of which ultimately result in text based responses. the images tab also has a generate image button when selected however it also returns garbage.

I am trialing this application, honestly, its feels like its hot garbage - i want to love it coz it seems cleaner, more honest, and grounded in verifiable responses vs GPT for example, but fundamentally it isnt performing.

Is this an issue for me or is this a global issue currently ?

Has anyone else noticed Perplexity's "Claude 4" seems to be Claude 3.5 suddenly? If you ask the results of the last Presidential election through Perplexity the AI has no information about it. That doesn't fit the March 2025 knowledge cutoff. And asking the free Claude 4 Sonnet in the Claude.ai website returns the correct response with no web searching.

I'm not saying it has knowledge about what it's cutoff date is. I'm saying that with a cutoff date of March 2025 it would know the results of the election in 2024. Claude 4 Sonnet directly on Anthropic's website can answer that without a web search. "Claude 4" through perplexity used to be able to as well, but now can not. Using API, Windows program, Androud app, and web interface. They all get it wrong. Well, say they don't know. Which is wrong by the cutoff date Claude 4 actually has.
