Hi, been using CLuade for summaries mapping and social system analysis. Perplexity looked like a good way to get more uses since they don't have paid and I am looking forward to the research focus down the road. Web Access is pretty nice though I don't trust ad copy for trustable content. AI though it hallucinates is better than sales copy but its nice to have. I have often wanted to summarize stuff on the web instead of C and P.

Hello, I just discovered Perplexity one day ago, and I already have a Pro subscription. Not that I have money to spare, but Perplexity was able to do something that no other could, which was reading a website, which is written a long time ago, so it doesn't meet the requirements, the latest technical requirements, to be read. However, Perplexity was able to do so. That makes me avoid having to fetch the entire site and convert the data. And that was being offered for free already. So I was so perplexed that you guys were giving this tool as a gift. So, me too, I wanted to give you the gift. And then I discovered that with the Pro subscription, you have many other features, which I will also be using. So thank you so much, and keep the good work going. I think this is one of the best applications of Artificial Intelligence. 🖖🏼

I'm a biomedical engineering student and I tend to use Perplexity as a support for studying and gaining a deeper understanding of medical/engineering concepts (of course not as my primary learning material) and have found it helpful to consolidate concepts that may not have been fully explained by my professors. It is also of incredible use to make my study time more efficient since I don't have to spend time searching many different websites myself and encounter the chance that I may not even find my answer in the end. As a journalist/reporter my main interests are climate change, environment, agriculture, nature, etc. I learned about Perplexity through a Norwegian newspaper. In the article, the writer explained how he has started using Perp. in his research-workflow (as a journalist), and had replaced it with Google. Hi! I stumbled onto AI just before summer and realized quickly that this tech was going to be a game changer as big or bigger than the Industrial Revolution was to that era and to not dive into it head first would be the mistake of a lifetime, a mistake I don’t intend making. I’m honestly shocked by some of the nonchalant responses responses I’ve gotten from people I always considered on the cutting edge of tech in the past. I’m even more committed now that I’ve gotten my teenager who is struggling in school to see the capabilities of it and become excited to learn about it. I don’t understand why people are so afraid of it, I use it for school, ethically, and it’s a game changer for me. I end up doing quite a bit more work, feel like the depth of my knowledge is far more robust when I’m done. I hope to challenge the misconception that AI will make the human element obsolete and show how using AI will simply allow us to concentrate and contemplate on the big stuff instead.

As with most other AI discoveries, I learned about Perplexity on YouTube. In 2020 I stumbled upon AI writing assistance platforms when I obtained an LLC. This was before open.ai and the new level of language models in use today. This may be deemed off topic but is the crucible of my existence, it's outcome, the determinant of my future. For three years I have been the target of a persistent, pervasive, and all consuming target of cyberhackers and identity theft. I am awash with ideas but none have come to fruition because I am obstructed at every step. In addition to research, content creation, and the ability to thrive as a solopreneur, it's all for naught if I cannot root out the source of this invasion. It is my hope that Perplexity can help me.
