and the answer was kinda mysterious

There are two ways:

The first way is to type out "In Spanish:" then ask openAI your question or give it your demand. It will return you an answer in Spanish.

The second way is to ask it to have openAI translate your question or demands into Spanish and then once you have you phrase translated. Take the translation it gives you and paste it back into open AI. It will answer your Spanish input with Spanish output @turbid totem

I... wouldn't be so quick to consider the situation to be that drastic, given especially the fact that you didn't specify what form of verification. seeing from https://discord.com/api/v10/invites/kWJZsxPDuX it appears that this server already requires at least a verified email in order to participate, I presume if the need arises that could be switched to a higher requirement. other than that, if you're referring to reaction-based channel gating, many servers don't have it and often it's fine unless the target audience is specifically problematic or somehow raids n stuff end up happening often there (besides, Discord already has a feature for moderators to report raids these days, as shown in https://support.discord.com/hc/en-us/articles/10989121220631-How-to-Protect-Your-Server-from-Raids-101) (and more on verification levels: https://support.discord.com/hc/en-us/articles/216679607-What-are-Verification-Levels-)

Came across perplexity a few weeks ago. Since then I've used it a lot in my personal research, simplifying concepts. It's magic tool, which delivers really well. Less is more!
For the "accurate suggestion", maybe instead of thumbs, we could put a ranking on 5 stars to give a better feedback and even have a "something you'd like to add" where people add their knowledge to the current def so overall it adds value to the tool and community.

I'm still working on changing my default habit from "thinking" about something and then maybe using a search engine to go see what other people have to say about it to going form the thought right to: "I should go talk to the LLM/AL about it..." as a first thing. I will do that and see what Perplexity has to say 🙂 If you create a channel for that I'm interested in sharing whatPerplexity has to say and what the community has to say as well. These questions about identity, theory of mind, and a lot of the cultural, social, and corresponding economic and "value" judgements (good/bad right/wrong successful/failure ...) we have coded so deep we don't even know they are choices (the fish doesn't think about the water so much as just swim in it...) are coming up very quickly. And, we have the tools and a new partner to help us become better people if we choose that. 🙂

I haven't tried designing and rendering before, well apart from some fractals so I am not sure how to answer your question but you can ask perplexity about different types of rendering processes and how to speed it up by using different methods (like I had to use chunking which I got to know through AI). Images are not part of perplexity yet but you can still try to ask perplexity to give you design ideas (maybe) based on your custom requirement and see if that helps. I am an internal medicine physician who teaches data science using a no code approach. Today I created a longitudinal table of cardiac patients with lab results we can use to create a line chart and analyze with a time series approach. I also created a physical exam and discharge summary that are very realistic. I plan to use NLP to analyze the free text once I collect enough text. There are so many outstanding features with Perplexity but perhaps the most important and impressive aspect is the references Perplexity provides. This is critical for both medicine and data science. I use Perplexity multiple times a day. Despite using ChatGPT, CPT-4, Open Assistant, AutoGPT and AgentGPT I always come back to Perplexity. Thanks for this incredible tool

The Copilot is really neat, it's nice that it asks for additional optional information, and the answers so far are nice quality. Looking back at my career where the technology changed so dramatically between my first and last days, I would say that there are few things to either look out for or be aware of. As a senior engineer you have an awareness of the essential concepts and foundation of programming, design, data structures, as well as possessing excellent problem-solving skills.

1. Continuously look for new learning opportunities
2. Communicate and collaborate with colleagues, management , non-IT folk.
3. Become passionate. Be passionate. Remain passionate
4. Know when to stop being the person that everyone needs and go home

These may sound generic and perhaps even "wishy-washy", but I believe they are each essential components regardless of what the tech is doing around you. That last one is especially important, and as I frequently found, was the most challenging.

A picture is worth a thousand words . In part, that phrase in the AI gives it extra value because it complements the information and makes it more graphic and visual. Can this function be achieved in Perplexity GPT-3.5? This model is faster and more mature than GPT4 . Perplexity reminds me of the same speed as Google Bard.

I'm a freelance photo- and videographer and a tech-enthusiast. Using midjourney since v3 now, tested and tried it to the bone. I wasn't that happy with the outcome from chatgpt as the "old" database was just not were I needed it to be. Tried Writesonic for a few weeks - that is too chopped up into pieces for me, the UI is not that user-friendly. My girlfriend stumbled upon perplexity. After getting exactly the results I wanted I went annual subscription mode. You developers need to be supported for bringing this to the world. Next step: Building my own J.A.R.V.I.S.!

I found Perplexity by watching AI youtube videos.I was subscribed to Open AI but found the speed of response especially for GPT 4 to be quite slow. Perplexity when I subscribed had very good response times. Usinfg GPT 4 and CoPilot.

I also did a few tests comparing the recent upgraded Bing chat responses to Perplexity’s and granted it was a small short test Bing responses were not as good as those of Perplexity. So evn the Bing is ‘free’ I’ll pay for the much better experience I get with Perplexity.

An observation is that the IOS Perplexity works fine on my Ipad Pro but consistently crashes on my iPad mini - tried restarts to no avail. Desktop and iPhone work fine so far.

In a world of full of misinformation and reactionary thought, the value of primary sources, or just knowing and vetting sources, is key to responsible knowledge work. The fact that Perplexity "shows the work" and allows me shortcuts directly to good sources, or to verify if its summaries are correct is the only thing that makes me trust the service. I'd never pay for blackbox tools that just give answers without any citations, that's so old-fashioned now, and deeply unwise. I don't want to cede my authority to AI false-gods, I want AI tools to be a trusted helper/augmenting app.
