On normal difficulty you'll only get into a hurdle in the 5th biome.

If you do up it from the go you'll encounter more difficulty but only uh... Slightly.
Depending on what you play.
Never play mage early on.

Last 2-3 weeks, If I have a game open for like 2-3 hours, it crashes and my PC also goes into restart.

Nothing of my components is overheating, and my setup is pretty solid.

I did reduce shadows and critical things in the game settings, but the issue persists no matter what I do.

Hija fellow flameborns. Me and my buddy got a question, we came back to the game to explore the valewater expansion after a couple of months and are just trying our luck with fishing. One of the baits we just learned are scarabs. We are now both of us in Kindlewaist searching for said scarabs. So far we found the frogs, the pillbugs, the grasshoppers pretty easy. But we cannot find the scarabs at all. We are searching for more than an hour already and there are none to be seen. Does anyone have any advice for us?

"True Fullscreen" in this instance meaning "Exclusive Fullscreen". Thats a thing of the past.
Remember your Monitor going dark for a second when you alt-tabbed? That was exclusive fullscreen.

No, compiling shaders only needs to happen once after every update. It's the game optimizing itself for your hardware. It might have been happening a lot for you recently because we had a lot of small hotfixes and patches after update 8, but we shouldn't have more for a while now.

I respec'd several times - my main issue with the game was actually that it's just too easy. I had to work incredibly hard to still be able to buildcraft, but not be completely OP

Have highest gear. Meteors and fire insta kill me. And when i knock it down, its back up before I can even get to it to do any damage.

it's a lot easier to bounce the meteors back, but when I was solo farming him for the trophy he got himself stuck half the time which just means if you can DPS through his high defense before hypothermia you get a free kill

the timing to perfect parry the meteors back is a lot more forgiving now so as long as you do that you should be fine

I just dont know how u can stay close enough to knock and do damage all while staying alive. Cause u need distance, but then when its knocked, you dont have enough time to get to it & attack it. And grinding for stun arrows is ALOT just for a boss fight lol

there's usually a flashing indicator to do it. it's not always the most intuitive timing, a lot of the time it's when they're still winding up but you have to do it when their weapons glow or you see a weird field around the jellyfish projectile

Cloud Save (Default):
Open the folder where Steam is installed (usually C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam). You can find the path from your Steam client menu under Steam > Settings > Storage.

There are 10 Save Slots available for your game worlds.

Backups:

Managing Saves

Transferring Saves:

• This must be done whilst the game is closed.
• To share a save, copy the latest world save I.E (3ad85aea-7).
• Dedicated servers only use Slot 1. Rename a save file to match Slot 1 if needed.
• Files can be renamed to move them between slots.

Rolling Back to an Older Save:

• Open the -index file in a text editor.
• Find the line "latest": X (where X is a number from 0-9).
• Change it to the desired backup index and save the file.

Additional Notes

• The -info file contains metadata (like world name) but is not needed for servers.
• Each player generates their own -info files when creating a world.
• The latest world save files are what should be transferred.
  Ensure you copy all required files when sharing a save. For servers, only Slot 1 is used.

omg-yes! I had to practically meld all craft tables and such into walls to keep them from always going behind and getting stuck. And then craft posts to place between because they did so often. I don't get why they don't see collision on placed items. 🤨

Well, all you can do is let them know how much fun you are having and hope that piques their curiousity. But it helps if you know what they like (game styles, type, aspects, etc)

For me it is family, and this is how we spend time together across the miles. Well my partner same house, but son and wife are many miles away. Games can connect family 🙂

It really does help though if you know what they like. You can highlight that aspect. For example..."oh hey, you like to build, enshrouded has really dynamic and amazing voxel building!" or if they like combat, "the combat is fun and challenging and they have really badass looking weapons" (the latter part can get them lol)
Or if they are crafters "oh it has really detailed and fun crafting and gathering and farming" etc etc

the building is in great shape, it has a well, a good spot to layout farmland. not horribly close to a spire and is roughly in the middle of the springlands.

it DOES have a weird issue with the roof, which is a "fix" to a pet peeve ive had with some of the buildings in this game though.

because starting with the HH update, a lot of the buildings were changed to have empty inaccessible attics. now this building just has a solid roof instead of that. I like neither.

it was the most bizarre change and I was not a fan.

The next time I build there im going to remove the roof and build my own attic space.

the building at wistful fields is absolutely bizarre, one might even say terrible.

... I think I might have fun with the challenge of fixing it. >:D

It's crazy that it says .5s stam regen delay, and then 155 stamina regen, seems like a lot to me, but it also seems SO slow. So many situations where I can't even guard because I am out of stamina and cant even regain enough in the time I get hit again or try to get away.

I feel like stamina shouldn't be used for guarding at the least, there are too many enemies that have both attack speed and run speed, or have distance-closing attacks with the attack speed that it doesn't feel fair trying to get away if you need to.

Stamina in Enshrouded has some weird quirks that I am not sure many people are aware of

stamina doesn't come back while blocking, so if you hold block the entire time when no hits are coming in... you're not gaining stamina, and you're also likely not looking at the stamina wheel, instead looking at the enemy you're trying not to get hit by :P

plus stamina doesn't come back while in the air... so the people who like to sprint and jump everywhere, tend to run out of stamina easily

I do hope we get some small updates though, not just giant announcement updates... they could just add and fix small things and not make a big deal out of it "oh yeah, update today, we added a hat, fixed some bugs, specifically we fixed fishing! we even added a legendary fish you can catch!" (meanwhile the legendary fish is bugged and isn't catchable yet)

or it is catchable, but isn't displayable in a fish-display yet :P

....or it's a sword fish, and is displayable as a 1H/2H weapon so it's "legendary" cause it's a fishing exclusive weapon

Hi all! Been playing about 290 hours, so far, on a private hosted locally game with my husband ( he's hosting, I am joining). Enter the problem.... tonight, I log on only for 50%, if that, of the graphics to render in. Almost 10 mins and still not everything is completely visible as well as my character is in their underwear, any controls are extremely delayed, rubber-banding, running while going nowhere and technically unplayable. I have put in a bug report, sending all the info they requested, and am wondering is anyone else had the same issues tonight? My CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 8 Core (4192MHz x 8) and my GPU is an AMD RX9070 XT. Per Unigine Heavenly Benchmark 4.0 results are FPS: 406.01, Score: 10230, Min FPS: 83.4 and Max FPS: 802.0 . I am showing no issues with my system at all and not overheating in the slightest.
