I reinstall game, update driver, add to firewall exception, update vulkan, turn off 2nd graphics card, add to real time processing, run as admin, and more
still only get 3 minute play time and then crash 🙁

but i dont have nvidea settings because only the driver is installed, and the game SHOULD NOT be using that card at all

Contacted gportal, even downloaded the game locally and starting taking things apart, removing water picking up all the animals and NPCs etc etc still no luck so I think just the accumulation of stuff and yeah happens either solo or with people

See the issue actuallt started when we got off default setting and tried custom settings but then reverted back thinking it was the issue but nope
I've reported with so many logs and paragraphs of what I did to enshrouded's Zendesk, guess for now all I can do is just wait at this point

I know. I'm asking because I'm a Twitch Content Creator and was streaming it tonight for Mod Monday. If I had known there were twitch drops, i would have advertised that to my community. I didn't know until I got the notification that I had earned it.
As for the stream on patch day, I can't watch stuff during the day, beacuse I work full time. Otherwise, I would. 🙂

Question on animal pens: pre-update I've had wolves break in to have a snack on my goats and such... Is this still the case post-update?
If I want to build an animal pen do I need to do a full building with walls and doors, or can I just have a pen with some fencing and that's that?

Wolves weren't the issue for me, it was animals just walking out/over the 'fence door' (gate, it's a gate, keen!)
Is there a specific direction the wolves come from?
Might be a workaround to use much higher fencing or wall on that side if so?

Yeah I can understand why people would want that...
Some years back a game dev from another game commented how 'having a minimap makes players watch the minimap, rather than the beautiful world we've created' - in reference to a system they implemented where the player could follow a trail of sparkles for their current objective.
I kind of side with the no-minimap camp, but don't begrudge those who want it 🙂

true but usually, when looking for POI's its hard to discern where the structure actually is either it be on top of a cliff or what, multiple presses of M disorient me and sometimes game bugs out and doesnt recenter

I think in general, the props are harder to render than the voxels. My base doesnt go down in framerate when I add more buildings, but when I decorate the stuff. Which, well, arches and the like are "decorations".

Its a known bug. Always hold your build hammer to pick stuff up, sometimes restarting the game helps. Some stuff just stays stuck until you pick up everything around it first.

most simple item related ones you just have to put in your inventory it doesnt matter if it was your own collected ones or from shroud depot as you said, some require you to assemble something and some still need you to do quests but those are very few

No, level does scale a couple skills I think but otherwise level just means skill points and is a loose indicator of your own level of progression.
Enemy level does of course affect their own health and damage.
What's more important is your overall skill points (from levels, shroud roots, and elixir wells) and what skills you actually have, your equipment, consumables and food buffs, and individual skill at the game.
Trying to attack level 30 enemies when you have level 5 equipment will not end well because you're just not going to have the health or damage to take them down easily, but there's no extra penalty on top of that

The only way to get it to change from "not planned" to "planned" is to add more comments and weight to it. The game was designed from the ground up as a co-op experience, but they've already loosened things a bit from where they started to make things more user friendly
My group plays a lot different than they expect you to, we tend to play "together but separate", so quests being entirely personal is something I also want to happen.

Well yeah I agree I like to run servers with dozens of people playing in total and i get that complaint alot that they already have everything unlocked. Also the UP TO 16 Players, but game starts rubberbanding at 6-7-8 players.. I have hopes for both server stability as wel as indeed server wide progression to be solo progression

Yeah, we know performance is a big focus leading up to release. So hopefully we'll see big improvements in server performance and stuff.
Remember, they're building the engine as well as the game, so its impressive as hell even at the current state

They went out of their way with the Editable signs it works amazing, instead of just a sign its like you can make navigation with it and write lore etc. Swimming looks amazing, the graphic overhaul is insane, water, emotes music all that and more. definitely seeing the passion and progression

There's more options for web hosting, but even then a lot of them just go with cloudflare and stuff

I did the math and the darn coffee machine costs 5 coins per 5 coffees. I can make a 7x7 steep slope of coins for "1 coin" terrain. That's 28 rows of 8 blocks in a stair case/ramp. making it 224 individual terrain blocks. so that means I can: make a pile of coins 1120 terrain blocks big / 140 cubed meters in volume. Ooorrr... a pot (5 cups) of coffee.

They will not share any exp if offline, mining exp is not shared even if online, that would be their biggest saving grace if trying to catch up as far as i know, and quests, they can do the quests you have completed and still get the exp for them

You should start solo to get the hang of the very basics, while looking for a group. Then you already know the hang of it and if it doesnt feel good in coop you can "abandom" them before you get too attached

I find this game is much better with friends but i'm lucky to play with some RL friends.
Only issue when playing with friends is if you try to all progress together you'll need even more resources and some can't just be gathered easily.

Okay, for me it works better than it did before, i can see an small 'target' circle on most items, but still having difficulty with some items as well.

This is pretty much entirely on Steam's end, usually it means they're verifying some files at the last minute or something.
But it's probably not killing your SSD lol

Frustration is understandable, expecting nothing to change in a game in development is not sensible. I can guarantee even the 'top builds' in the workshop have had to contend with changes. (Come on... the old banisters were 100 times better.... ) It is unfortunately the risk we take when we decide to do what we want to do ^^ All we can do it pass on feedback about changes they make along the way ^^
