Depending on hardware it has a pretty lengthy shader compile step. Which you should let finish in the main menu to avoid weird behaviour or stutters in game.

Like most new games, Enshrouded takes some time to compile shaders to make gameplay smoother; the first time it can take a little while lol.

also make sure youre not on the latest nvidia drivers if you have an nvidia card. Those drivers have an issue with enshrouded where certain terrain/ores won't render.

check before you do the shaders, because you're gonna do them again for the other driver if you have to rollback.

591.86 is the last known good for Enshrouded.

If you had that one installed before you can use the nvidia app, in the driver tab, all the way at the bottom it tells which one you had previously installed

click the 3 dots and hit reinstall.

If you can't do it like that you'll have to download the 591.86 from nvidias website.

Nvidia has it in the "Known Issues" for the latest driver and Keen is working with them on fixing the issue.

Is it just me or is this game a bit unfair against melee players as I just found out that certain bosses are constantly airborne so you can only hit them with ranged attacks

As a solo player won't that be difficult for a melee build

Or am I missing something here I don't have much experience in the game

Nah, just always have a backup weapon (bow, wand, staff); later on you can buy skills that let you get airborne for some melee attacks, and others that use your grappling hook to pull mobs to you or you towards mobs (or both).

• The game references the file listed in the -index file.
• Every 10 minutes, a new copy is created, pushing the oldest out of rotation.
• There is no distinct "primary" save—whichever file the -index file points to is loaded.

Managing Saves

Transferring Saves:

• This must be done whilst the game is closed.
• To share a save, copy the latest world save I.E (3ad85aea-7).
• Dedicated servers only use Slot 1. Rename a save file to match Slot 1 if needed.
• Files can be renamed to move them between slots.

Rolling Back to an Older Save:

• Open the -index file in a text editor.
• Find the line "latest": X (where X is a number from 0-9).
• Change it to the desired backup index and save the file.

Additional Notes

• The -info file contains metadata (like world name) but is not needed for servers.
• Each player generates their own -info files when creating a world.
• The latest world save files are what should be transferred.
  Ensure you copy all required files when sharing a save. For servers, only Slot 1 is used.

Ages ago I checked Nexusmods for Enshrouded and saves were most of what was there. You can also just get gear/materials from Shroud Depot or other free resource servers.

since i had the same problem, i can suggest you to remove the water, check if there is any hole/leak on the border, place the drain better or a bit lower, add again the water

also depends how many water dispenser you are using to raise the water

i mean, when the pond is empty you can open a bit more dispenser, but once the water is almost at level, just keep one.

all the water inside your flame will be removed
