Hello, as I mentioned yesterday, I've noticed an anomaly in the Warrior skill tree. The Swiftblade skill has prerequisites that are incompatible with each other. Swiftblade only works for axes and one-handed swords, and to obtain it, you're forced to take a skill dedicated to maces, daggers, or two-handed swords. :/

There is tons of one handed Swords and Axes that have piercing damage and the skills are as follows:

Constitution - Melee Damage - Strength - Piercing Damage - Piercing Damage - Crit Melee Chance - Swiftblades

What is your issue with that?

Piercing damage affects a very small number of swords and generally represents a small portion of the damage inflicted by that weapon.

But its not "incompatible" as you put it. It just doesnt benefit your particular choice of sword/axe.

It's rather pointless. Swapping the blunt damage line with the slash damage line would be more appropriate.

This would allow us to satisfy all build profiles.

It's kinda the same with Kick and Silent Stride. Does not make sense for me to need to spec into sneaking to use the kick that fills stun bar and knocks things back less than Begone!

Gem of Meteoric Impact cause some issues when you have it on a weapon

like, if you Glide too long(for example from high altitude) the gem stop working and make Healing Aura stop working too

I know gems have been acting wonky in some regards, but i've not heard that specifically. Do submit the bug report using F1/esc menu in game, be as detailed as you can and try to include how they can replicate the bug, will make it easier for them to find the cause ^^

Finally decided to give the game a whirl. Very much looking forward to it. I do know it can be fun to play with friends but is it also solo friendly for the days when your friends decide to actually have a life?

It really depends on you.
You can go to a resource world and grab gear and exp scrolls and basically boost a friend to your level and hop right in.
Obviously any building you do also would directly benefit them.

The story is very much text lore driven. So they can always catch up with the story too.

Ive played since EA released and I have absolutely no clue what the story is, and still have a great time

Possibly, we will probably have better FSR/DLSS versions at some point in the future. Being in a custom engine, though, we have to develop all the support for new versions ourselves, it's not a simple engine update like it might be with unreal engine or something. So we'll only put in the dev time to add a new version when it's a significant enough upgrade, or there seems like a lot of demand for it.

Honestly though. Creative mode SHOULD be a super simple fix. Did it to an SRPG I had been working on and the meat and potatoes of it only took a few days. Then testing obviously. But the actual work behind it wasn't bad.

It doesn’t matter when she will literally turn around and fire you and you can’t escape. Hell, even when you finally knock her down, that even knocks you off into the shroud and she doesn’t stay down long enough to do anything.

I’m throwing in the towel. It’s a shame such a stupid fight ruins the entire experience of the game.
Either remove the small platform in the shroud or make her mechanics not so annoying.

The dragon can be beaten as any class without cheesing the fight. But you can also just lower the difficulty settings.

Or just use the exploit, it's really just play however you want.

We tried. All of it. And maybe we are too stupid. But it was not donable for us. Not even close. The most damage we made was maybe 5%. Thats it. The rest of the game is pretty easy gaming. Some things where you have to give a little more input. But this dragon is 300% difficulty of the rest of the game. And again. If this would be something where you can get an achievement for. Fine!! Absolutely. We dont want to. We could leave him behind. But you HAVE to get him down for the storyline. And that sucks hard.

There's like 3 things that aren't obvious about the dragon fight.

• It is very damage resistant until it is stunned. Stun arrows and lightning spells both help
• the fireballs can be parried back at it which also helps stunning
• if you can't jump over it, don't try to outrun the flame breath. use the glider to the other side of the arena

The moment you get into fight with him (at least while we did it) he uses attacks that steals your stamina. Or for whatever reason. So yeah. You have enough. But when its not loading up again while running around and trying to get out of his attacks. You died

Maybe it was the rain. I was so busy trying not to be killed. I didnt get WHY it didnt load up again. I only saw it when I tried to fly through the arena on the other side

Are you running out of stamina from running around the arena from the flame breath? The flame breath tends to rotate, if you either jump over it or glide behind it, there's a logn pause while the dragon continues to attack an area that you aren't at.

Try not to run at all. Just get out of the way of the fire balls. Then get most likely directly hidden by his laser, so that would be a jump or a flight (whatever might help to get out of the way) and then try to fly through the arena for his fire blast.

Not saying the fight isn't difficult - but really that's where the difficulty settings can help. Increase the stamina slider, health, mana, whatever you want until it feels fair.

Its just... you know.... WHY? Why is there a need for such a difficult boss??? When the whole game is so balanced and smooth. And why make him part of the story? So you HAVE to do him to go on. Of course you can glide around to the rainforrest and go on with the game. But... you stuck with the altar and can't go on.

Oh, why is the boss so difficult? Because it used to be the final boss for a long time. When they added Veilwater they didn't add a new final boss. Should the dragon be nerfed now? Probably. But the game is in early access and they probably haven't gotten to it yet.

I love the dragon boss. The most fun boss to fight but not like other bosses, which I can kill easily while shutting down my brain.

Btw, I killed him several times in the survival difficulty.

The best method, to kill the dragon youngling, is using "BONKMASTER 3000"( blunt-2h-weapons).

Full mage is fine. You can use Shock dmg for stunning and skull vessels for distracting. Your main dmg source should be the bone channel magic.

Even when it’s stunned and on ground, it doesn’t take much damage nor is it on the ground for that long.
If these dev La think players are gonna keep grinding just to make stun arrows even on the easiest difficultly over a boss that ruins the entire game… they have another thing coming.
Again… barely 7% of players who own the game have beat this boss. That should speak volumes on how idiotic and unfair it is.

I’m mostly so pissed that a stupid boss such as that ruins the entire experience of this game that I’ve loved and put nearly 100hrs into.
Just for it to stop at a dragon that doesn’t seem doable….
And to think I was gonna buy it on console as well. No thanks.

7% seems to make sense. Only like 11% of players have even gotten to level 30. But you should also just exploit or lower the difficulty until it's adjusted.

Steam Achievements don't really say that much, most people haven't even touched that area to begin with and a big chunk may have only played in the first few months

I had a stack of skull vessels and they did nothing. They stayed in the same spot, never moved, nor did they distract. It’s been the case throughout my entire play through. They’re more useless than anything.
Also, you have to have time to be able to even use shock or stun arrows. The dragon doesn’t give you time to do anything. You’re too busy being one shot by the fire, being knocked into the should instantly killed, or trying to parry meteors that barely does anything.
Even when she’s stunned it’s for 2.2 seconds, she knock you off form her hitting the ground and by time your back on that platform she’s back up doing her fire. It’s just never ending.
It’s not worth the hassle nor the grind.

You can start the dragon fight first, then you should fly to the peak nearby. Make yourself a comfortable platform with the pickaxe. Still mage build but you can use eternal arrow with frost dmg to shoot the dragon from the high ground.

• Launch Game
• Select Character
• Select "Join - Join an online game" (rightmost option)
• Enter server address (if you need to use an IP address click "Search by IPv4/Domain" in the lower right corner; for me that's letter T to bring up that menu)
• When it asks for a password, leave it blank (only admins need password)
• Enter server, walk around and open chests until you find what you need
• Take item, but be aware if it's an item normally tied to a quest you may soft lock yourself out of that quest if you haven't already completed the quest

we made it... With all the tips from yesterday. I jumped left side of the platform on a mountain, my friend at the opposite site from the entrance. We needed to find a spot where the dragon would still be active when one of us falls down. We changed the settings of the server. And we just stand on our mountain passage and dropped arrows on his head. He jumped to one of us from time to time. Set us under fire or blow us off our throne. But if one of us was still standing he did not reset and we could make him down. Didnt "cheat" a long time in a game like this. But at least we did it. Really frustrating. So here you go. Another 0,000001% of players "defeated the dragon".

Unsure how this technique would work for a single player. As he DO get us down our places from time to time. Might be resetting anyway. Oh and dont forget to also cheat on the time in the cold. As it took more then the almost 30 minutes we would have with the original settings
