Managing Saves

Transferring Saves:

• This must be done whilst the game is closed.
• To share a save, copy the latest world save I.E (3ad85aea-7).
• Dedicated servers only use Slot 1. Rename a save file to match Slot 1 if needed.
• Files can be renamed to move them between slots.

Rolling Back to an Older Save:

• Open the -index file in a text editor.
• Find the line "latest": X (where X is a number from 0-9).
• Change it to the desired backup index and save the file.

Additional Notes

• The -info file contains metadata (like world name) but is not needed for servers.
• Each player generates their own -info files when creating a world.
• The latest world save files are what should be transferred.
  Ensure you copy all required files when sharing a save. For servers, only Slot 1 is used.

Ok Question we have a G Portal sever and the thing keep saying High and Extreme load on server we have had them change us to another server like 4 times at this point and we are getting this with just 2-4 people on the server to where the lag is crazy. Does anyone know of another server company that they play on that doesn't have these issues because we would like to have the 15 people we paid for on our sever but apparently G portal servers cant seem to handle this game at all. i picked up all of our shroud spores and cores out of a chest then it promptly diconnected me and when i rejoined it set my characters inventory to a point when it last updated... when i didnt have the spores and cores... meaning they were ALL lost to the void of nothingness

You can play on your computer. You can invite people via network to come to your world on your computer. You can have a world hosted on another computer and always on/available to up to 16 players.

If you have lost items/progress on your private, non-server game then you are likely having an issue with Steam Cloud saves being turned on or off. Please reach out to #troubleshooting. ❤️ 🍀

The dragonling is totally beatable without cheese on normal and hard settings, AND it is also feels like a boss from a different game when compared to the difficulty of other bosses in the game. Both are true, but also the game has plenty of difficulty sliders to play the game that fits you.

This is my point too. The replies are always:

• parry the inconsistent and extremely slow fireballs whenever the dragon feels like throwing them out
• craft stun arrows, but not a reasonable amount for one or two people, enough for a small army to invade Pikesmead
• turn the settings down, even if the rest of the game on default settings is very doable or even easy to you

It needs attention for sure. It's an absurd difficulty spike. It might be technically beatable, but I could solo Hollow Halls at equal levels and the dragon straight up made me step away from the game for weeks

i would not advise raising your HP, as that will do nothing or in my case make things worse.

but a full stack of stun arrows was more than enough for me without much in the way of archer skills.
I got the dragon down to 95% of his stun bar, landed on the donut, finished stunning him, and then smashed his face in as fast as possible.
this was before any further updates though, no idea what it's like now.

but YES, the dragon is a Massive leap in difficulty compared to the rest of the game.

Has anyone tried a diplomacy build?

Everyone asks "How to not get 2-shot by Fell Thunderbrute" but who is asking "How is Fell Thunderbrute?"

I think it could be fixed with some tweaks, not a whole revamp.

• For starters, the arena. Size is fine, but the whole in the middle is too much for melee users. Fill the gap and you gain a lot of room to dodge more effectively. Not only that, once stunned the dragon's weak points will actually be reachable.
• Second, the laser like attack that circles the arena is too abusive due to the speed it the dragon moves it around. I would make it so the dragon flies up to the middle and shoots downwards, makes the attack more predictable and bow/staff players can take the opportunity to attack from below.
• Third, reduce it's stats, the health pool is ridiculous and so is its damage. Also, introduce some kind of fire resistance item or armor. There are my single armor pieces like the diving helmet or the GS gauntlets, a chestplate for this fight wouldnt be too farfetched.
• Last, introduce a special quest that grants weapons with special buffs (Increased damage mainly) for the fight. We have MANY lore items that are no different from other weapons cept for their name. Scavengers in this area have fire infused weapons, why not go that way?.

I think what im suggesting doesnt affect the battle's core or challenge, just makes it more practically doable
