My understanding is that it's because Keen would need to establish a US-based branch to properly hire US-based employees themselves, I think due to German law, or they'd have to pay significantly higher taxes. By using this third party company that has their own us branch, it ends up being way cheaper, despite the overhead of having to pay this company to manage all the paperwork.

Pure Ranger is very potent all through the game; Mage is probably best for high damage to groups but is veeeeery squishy for the first 15-20 levels.

Full ranger is fun imo because when I played mage it felt broken where acid was melting enemy and fire was just massive aoe but the way you play the class also varies, I use bow 90% of the time and I kite mobs and parkour my way around bosses 😂 you can find fun in any build just enjoy the journey

Acid's not as crazy as it used to be, from what I hear. My Mage journey has been VERY CAUTIOUS cause I've only used wands and staves...so squeeeeshy. XD

Keli does 80% of her work with daggers and 15% with bows; she also carries sword and shield for bug swarms and a wand for popping the Fell mushroom puffballs (and grenades for spawners). Nezuki (my new Mage) only carries 2 wands and a staff rn.

So, the only other dual wield weapons - daggers are a single item. One gem, 5 upgrades max.

If shields were upgradeable, then 1H + Shield would double up on that. 2 gems, 10 upgrades.

Even if all armor were upgradeable, 1H plus Sheld still wins. They wear armor too 😄

FPS isn't everything.

Your eyes can only actually perceive something like 30 FPS. Higher than that just makes less instances of "lag" happening during those 30 frames.

I want to say that has some relation to why many games have a 60 FPS lock?

Seriously tho, ultra is really heavy on the GPU, turn down some settings or better yet, lock the game to 60 and enjoy the lower powerbill and heat output.

Not every weapon is available in the loot pools at higher levels. Some of them can be obtained from altered servers but not from normal drops.
