As loathe as I am to report this due to how useful it's been to me, there's some kind of bug with the gemini rings where with two of them equipped, I continuously regenerate health. I didn't need a single potion during the wispwyvern fight and I just swung away

Tbh had never an issue... Normally the jump pad directs you where you need to be. It's only if one tried to curse correct heavily that it's a problem.
Also I am honest, I've yet to find any hard puzzles or jumping passages in this game. Normally it's even too handholding for me at times and even in later biomes...

I was getting tired of falling into lava - why the character would dodge over a cliff into a lava pit while fighting who knows..
You move forward on a weapon swing - what is that about. Continuous swings make you fall off a cliff edge.
Now we have jettisons placed on rounded inclined tree branches to deal with.
Some ppl are gamers used to jumping and dodging and some not.

  1. Don't fall into lava, problem solved.
  2. The character moves where you direct him. The game just receives and executes commands.
  3. Well, get used to it? Because what do you expect hitting something in front of you. Tell me you can swing a sword and have weight to it, without stepping forward and I'll give that to you.
  4. Well, rule number 11 in survival. NEVER FIGHT ON A CLIFF.
  5. Horrible I know who even placed them there. Oh wait, it was so you actually can reach the spire because people wouldn't follow or have enough navigation to follow just a branching tree upwards. <.<
  6. Well... Sorry to tell you like that, but should every game now be built around for gamers that are just "not used to gaming" in gaming? Tbh, would be pretty boring to move in a straight line from A to B at some point and the biome teaches you how these things work beforehand.

I'm living in peaceful acre's house right now while I start and I'm just playing with building and cosmetic appearance like I said. my first issue is that some of the pre-existing furniture doesn't let me interact with it. I'd like to store it and move it around but it looks like i can't with the stuff the building comes with, which is fine, I don't mind making my own. but for example this rug, I can't seem to destroy it even if I remove everything around it and approach it from different angles to find an interact prompt. Secondly, is there a way I can get the rubble/stones off the wood floor?

You can craft a ''Decay Tool'' later - which can make things look broken/damaged, and also repair them again.

  1. Screenshot the carpet and put it either in #off-topic or #enshrouded-chat.
  2. You might to either use the decay-tool from a NPC you will find in the Hollow Halls (Dungeon-esque thing you'll be able to enter if you have level 12-15*) that can get rid of it.
    THOUGH I would recommend you to entirely destroy and rebuild the house with screenshots etc. because it'll reappear after updates if just removed with the decay tool.

yeah that's because blocks have 3-4 states:
"polished" => The ones that look "good".
"rugged" => The stuff where you got rubble.
"overgrown" => Where you have ivy on it
"uh" => I forgot 4th

Small details like that usually aren't what determines who a game appeals to... This game appeals to people who like in-depth building, exploration, and collaborative combat. The fact that your character moves forward with melee attacks is more of a quirk than anything.

If you're having trouble with the platforming parts of the game, I'd recommend investing in Double Jump and other movement skills.

Dunno, first experience was always good. Just remind your folks to stick together because it's co-op and people can miss out on quest completion if one isn't to share loot (the quest items) or y'know... kills bosses without others being nearby.

i had put off trying it and i'm level 20 with level 15-18 weapons. single hand melee, bow and wand. i wanted to craft more efficient arrows but the materials are my shortcomings. the better damage, the more tedious the crafting gets

The first on is level 10. You will be fine. Explosive arrows if bow. Sword n board is enough if melee.

i didn't have a great experience coop due to how bad the rubberbanding was when i tried. not the company's fault of course. that's why i'm very cautious of dungeon-like spaces. but if it's just level 10s. i suppose i will have to be on my wits. it isn't shroud or have a timer...does it? πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«

I was very disappointed that those "windows" one can build, the ones with big round openings, that block out water, doesn't block out rain, nor do they add sheltered state. So a base under water, with those as roof, not sheltered, and it rains through the water and into the base. Cool sunlight though, but that means underwater base isn't really viable at the moment in my opinion.

also, that same "window" exists as both a horisontal slab that blocks water coming down, and a "wall" option, which blocks water leaking in on the side, but the wall one, it looks like water is perpetually running down outside on it, which means you can't even look out into the water. Very disappointed with the underwater base options so far πŸ™

You can see but our oxygen levels is for like 30 seconds. Once you unlock the last area and get some stuff to improve your water breathing. It's nice. The water update, pretty awesome.

the sign is easiest seen just behind the "Plants" text, that small rectangular wooden board

you need wooden planks, so basic items, but planks require the Table Saw, so unless you have unlocked that, you can't craft them. The signs are crafted at the basic crafting table, so maybe I was wrong about the carpenter.

yea i recently got blacksmith his smelter and carpenter his saw blade. still no signage available. also. i did want to arrange my chest on the wall for space saving. isn't that hard to angle which chest to open?

indeed. you can either stack em directly ontop and side by side or have one blockline in between for style. doesnt make a difference in its usability though, you can open each individually just fine with both methods.

looks like those chests was placed without snapping, so yes, use snap, otherwise it is a nightmare to place stuff, only disable snap when you need to rotate or do something weird

Shroud is really no big deal, you can handle it. I would recommend carrying a spare flame altar so you can place it down near where you're mining or whatever. That way you can fast travel back to it easily

You can make things a bit round but you have to get creative with the tools. You can place individual voxels so you can build a circular structure or even a sphere. The voxels might be more sharp depending on the material but once you place them the game blends adjacent ones to look nicer

So I think terrain blocks might be able to do what you want in terms of roundness but not all the standard building blocks
