Backups:

Managing Saves

Transferring Saves:

• This must be done whilst the game is closed.
• To share a save, copy the latest world save I.E (3ad85aea-7).
• Dedicated servers only use Slot 1. Rename a save file to match Slot 1 if needed.
• Files can be renamed to move them between slots.

Rolling Back to an Older Save:

• Open the -index file in a text editor.
• Find the line "latest": X (where X is a number from 0-9).
• Change it to the desired backup index and save the file.

Additional Notes

• The -info file contains metadata (like world name) but is not needed for servers.
• Each player generates their own -info files when creating a world.
• The latest world save files are what should be transferred.
  Ensure you copy all required files when sharing a save. For servers, only Slot 1 is used.

Probably they want to make sure they're up to snuff, and a LOT of development work went into the water system so they wanted to make sure that was as good as it could be. They're big on not releasing incomplete features and content.

the wake of the water update is massive both in scale as technical accomplishment. sure I was also hoping for the albaneve summits hollow halls as I really enjoy that content but seeing what we've got with veilwater I can totally understand why there is no hollow halls yet. I am also curious to know what will be in 1.0 . seeing that this is in spring I hope there will be some closure on the story and the hollow halls. but I also wish for the devs to not crunch and burn out. It's been a long time since I enjoyed a game this much and I am grateful for what we've got

well, I for one would strongly encourage you to look at your build path and gear set up, and consider trying things that are slightly different. If we made changes that require you to actively invest into active stamina or HP regen, and you aren't changing your approach at all, you're just setting yourself up for defeat

Being rested, eating food for their buffs, and looking at what armor goes well with your build along with playing smart will help you along.

I played about 200 hours in this game, I understand its mechanics and how to do what, after the update you decided to fix the recovery of stamina, hp and health, but it looks like you overdid it since I can go make tea during this time, this is not a joke. I've got everything built into my physique + stamina, and after upgrading everything, it doesn't help. Drak'dal will shoot me down with 2-3 blows, as a warrior who has to withstand it. Listen to the audience, the streamers, you will hear not the most pleasant words about the update.

I do know with any expansion/new zone/level increase, time is needed to gear up, get skill points and knowledge to conquer the new stuff. If you can own a new zone like it was an old zone, what good is that?

My water aura heals me for ~30ish every tick. Which isn't much when you have 1500hp, I mean, it's only like 2% of your total hp/tick. You still have to chug potions to survive now.

the gem of necromancy doesnt drop as far as I am aware
