Is the multiplayer server lag any better these days? With valheim, me and my friends spread across the OCEANIC region have no issues. However when we tried enshrouded, anyone besides the host had noticable delay in seeing player action impact on the world. Like chop wood motion and it would take a .5 seconds to see the animation.

They aren't forever empty, they'll respawn after a while, but restarting the server no longer instantly resets them

If we haven't played in a year, and we had a big town area built off the cliff (added land onto the side of the cliff) at the starting area, got to the quest where we had to ||defeat the big blue dragon||, a few npcs, animals and soul people, do we need to restart or can we continue with the same save? Not sure how much is effected in that starter area? Can we adapt with finding new gear and retouch items?
Or do we start again? If we had to do so, do we log into the old save, pack up chars with inventory full of important things and head into new save, or do we have to make fresh characters of lvl 1?

I just so happened to change thermal paste on my GPU chips, reinstall windows and because of that installed a fresh copy of Enshrouded. The excrutiatingly long shader compilation is gone now. One of the things I did must've helped.
