DEVs just use its advanced features as bandaid instead of using them properly

It is good, but devs are going too fast with it and using it before the optimization aspect has been fleshed out. It's a big talking point in the industry, UE5 has been having an adverse effect on gaming because of develoepers

It's genuinely not completely optimized yet, it's an unfortunate fact. But many develoeprs are headstrong on using it because of how streamlined many of its aspects are

Another issue is it's making a lot of games look the same. A lot of time I can see when a game is made on UE5 just by looking at gameplay trailers and it's because of many little things

It and Unity being so open seouce and streamlined has also brought in a massive, MASSIVE wave of slop games. I like that they're open source or semi open source, and I'll always support small devs doing what they do. But the accessibility of them have made it so easy for the industry to be filled with just complete crap

but if mana regen takes the drink slot in the consumeables its kinda gg for mages

cuz at that point your mana regen is potion spamming

in general a lot of the new regen stuff sounds like "just stack potions and bandages omegalul"

Not really, 4 of mine are outside the HH's then i have one for the Boss Fight in Albaneve Summits, then i have my actual main base. If they add more HH's and more boss Fights thats gonna eat into the altars even more. So i'd say they need to add a fast travel to HH's and Boss fights would cut down the altar's use. But that just me.

As someone with one of the largest builds here i would have to disagree that its not enough - at least from a building perspective. I agree they need some alternative options for fast travel points - i think we could see mini-altars that function as such at some point.

I think the addition of ploppable fast travel points would relieve a lot of the “need” for more altars though.

Its not a perfect system to say the least. I actually do not have any clue why some show and others don’t.

Best bet is to just have them save the IP and join that way or continue via steam friend option.

@carmine scroll I keep off. Because technically your latency goes up a little with it. If you have a 40 or 50 series gpu you dont need unless you're using Smooth Motion. If you use Smooth Motion your low latency mode turns on. You'll get a lot more generated frames

There are quests you can miss if you do the 'thing' before the game tells you to

You likely got a skill point and spent it before you were offered the quest

There are a few quests like that that you can get blocked from.

There's one quest that you have to never fast travel anywhere before getting to the top of the first spire.

You can only get the quest the first time anyone climbs the spire, then no one else on that server can get it

They do. When you hit the quantity button it fills the workbench with the mats. You can also see the mats you have in the same windows. But if you cancel the operation you have to take the mats out by hand

It was this game. You have to craft magic storage chests. Then the work benches will see and use the mats out of those chests. Regular chests will be invisible. Which sometimes is a good thing if you dont want things being used.

In the shroud lairs? Usually that’s just an area to collect archaic essence and maybe fight a higher lvl enemy at the bottom and there’s a chest there but nothing substantial like a real boss or anything
