The way our saves work is that everything outside of your flame altar will update automatically, so you don't usually need to start a new save when an update comes out.

Yeah there's sorta an asterisk in the sense that this is an early access game and sometimes areas within flame altars still break when big changes happen to the game world. We try to avoid it but sometimes it's inevitable (and honestly some people might find their bases flooded in the next update, just as a heads up lmao)

But at least in that case we give you drains to remove water fairly easily, so it shouldn't be too much of a disaster

Kinda, but it's less invasive than the shroud in that it's a lot easier to remove. But yeah it's unlikely that your mountain base will have to deal with much water, it's most a couple of low level areas where we've added lakes and stuff.

From what I've seen it doesn't seem to actually break any builds, you just might log in to find a lot of it underwater lol, but that water can be removed fairly easily with drains.

It's also a known issue that the team is working to make as uncommon as possible, so it might not be very many people at all that have to deal with it.

Honestly I’m not the best person to ask for that, I found out keen was working on something then followed it, all I would suggest is follow what any studios you like are up to and see if any opportunities come up.

Yeah, I've been involved in a lot of alphas/betas. Generally when a game does a reveal trailer, they're pretty early on and might be looking for alpha/beta testers. If you join their discord and participate regularly, you might get an opportunity to do an early test.

Enshrouded has shown me I want terra forming in every survival game. And I'm a huge nerd for survival games I try I play all the big ones and I'll look for the hidden gems too. But survival genre in 2025 is so bloated you never know what will stick when it comes to the smaller teams

Yeah, I got addicted to Valhein for a while and I actually ended up loving the structural integrity system, which I think most people don't like about the building. But it forces me to get creative with the building in ways not many other survival games had to that point. I also have a background in construction so, trying to maximize integrity and finding ways to tie things together might just be a part of me Lol

Directions for H2O auto response:

No, what I'm referring to is how, immediately after triggering glide, there's a window of time in which you are unable to cut the glider with rightclick. There's a lot of times in which I just need to glide a very short distance, and landing on a small ledge, so being forced to do the roll-land is perilous

They're unrelated, the exploit involved the fact that you could refresh updraft without landing by cutting your glider. That's fixed by refreshing only upon landing, as opposed to entering the state of not-gliding

Me and a friend started a very big project. Everything went good untill a couple of months ago when we noticed that items which we placed turned invisible. Invisible doors. Invisible chests, invisible book, trophies, pretty much all the items we tried to place turned invisible. The items are there because if we try to pass them we are getting blocked in their dimension so we cannot pass through unless we jump them or go around

Are we the only ones which have this issue? Or is there someone else experiencing the same problem

There is more or less a cap on how many items you can have - the game will start to make things go invisible/not load when you reach that as to keep your PC from going boom.

No you're not the only one, yes they are aware of it, yes it's a limitation because you've got too many props in the area. It's either that or the game crashes/you run at 5FPS - But it is part of the optimisation they're constantly working on ^^

Hey all wondering if someone could help. I have a 4080 Super, Ryzen 7800X3D, 64GB 6000MHz CL32 RAM and a 2TB M.2 SSD but for some reason I am getting extreme stutter. Bizarrely I can get very high FPS with max quality, 1440p and DLSS quality and it still stutters like crazy. I found if I wanted over 60 FPS without stutter I needed to run medium/normal settings. Again I'm not talking about getting a high FPS as I already am I mean to stop stutter. The only way I can get quality settings to work is to FPS cap at 60. If the FPS goes to 61 or 59 I stutter like mad. Anyone know why?

You can 'move' the altar by placing a second one, upgrading it so it covers your current buildings and then removing the first. The only mats you 'lose' are the build area upgrades (Flame strength, what you need mob heads for are permanent)
