It's good, don't get me wrong, but it doesn't make sense that some are that way and others aren't. Seems half-baked. Basically what I was saying earlier is that I'd prefer it if all non-eternal spells functioned that way and all spells had an 'eternal' version which required a staff and mana.

If I could give you any advise, Take your time with it! I tend to rush things but I’ve found taking the time to upgrade gear and farm supplies before solo questing. And taking the time to build your own base in this game is 10/10

The Albaneve Hollow Hall. It's unfinished so it's just a large room with a bunch of skeletons and a single gold chest, but it drops higher level weapons

Plus with resource worlds they sometimes bring in modded/cheated in weapons, like weapons that are in the game code but aren't in the loot pools yet. They use things like Builder's Companion to add them

Idk if I'm alone, but I'm really hoping that they add water to some other areas of the map just to flesh it out, make the world feel a bit more lived in.

Personally, I'm also hoping they put a sea at the very bottom of the map to section off the continent, make there be some sort of inescapable beasts in the water that pull you into the sea or something if you try to get too far, or just keep the red bounds, just make it more immersive/realistic with some beaches and the ocean

I'd like it if there were certain zones that when you destroyed the Shroud Root it killed the shroud in a larger area, and it started to grow back as normal. There's still PLENTY of zones that Shroud Roots AREN'T part of, and with the two great pits in the Kindlewastes and Revelwood there's reasons why massive sections wouldn't disappear, meaning they could keep those zones but we could convert other areas

Sniper rifle might not be a good choice of words, but more like a longer ranged rifle with a stronger attack and slower reload time. I've definitely seen those elements of weapons in fantasy games before, and adding a magical spin to it could make it even more interesting.

dos anybody know why my buddy keeps getting hit with the shaders issue every time he tries to log in? is it because he doesn't log in for 5 days during the week? it's happened 3 weeks in a row now, and it takes his poor little laptop his entire play time in the evening to compile them, so we lose out on a night of gaming :<

It should only happen after a patch or graphics driver update, but if it's happening more often have him turn off shader pre-caching in Steam

Steam tries to download the shaders for you to make loading faster but it winds up causing the game to recompile. Turning that off will put the heavy lifting on his hardware instead

It's one of those interesting questions. They developed their own game engine for Enshrouded, and given the success naturally they'll have another game in the future so it's entirely reasonable that they'll take what they built in Enshrouded and expand on it in some way

I'd highly recommend not rushing through it though, and don't follow any guides because A) most of them are out of date and B) the game does well enough at guiding you through and guides tend to leave out steps you need to complete.

I'm still reading scrollback. But if you're still on the fence, I look at games/prices this way. I figure that the cost of a movie ticket to goto the theater is $X. I would likely also get some kind of food/drink. Whether at the theater or sneaking it in, so that's $Y. So for $X+Y I get ~1-2hr of entertainment. For the game cost of $Z I would get ??? Chances are high that the per hour cost of the entertainment with the game is far less than a movie ticket.

Now considering USD prices of $30 (full) or $23 (sale). That's on par with a single movie session these days at a quality theater. So as long as it provides more than 2hr of entertainment I call it a win.

Kinda sorta. The only biome (currently) you really have to upgrade the gear for is the mountain area. And even that is arguable. You don't have to but trying to work the mechanics without makes it very hard.

I was using lv13 gear until I hit the mountain area. The cold mechanic was just too much to deal with without the bonus from the new armor there. So I upgraded it. Even with the consumables you can use to combat the cold mechanic, it doesn't give enough time to do certain things. So you end up needing to make the armor for some things or else you cut your timer really short.

The last update broke my main save so I had to delete it. Just even after the patch my villagers werent recognizing that they were under shelter or assigned to beds. But I got through all the content and got caught up to that quickly with a few tweaks to settings the only downside is I lost my builds there too.

I started a brand new world though and am playing through it again fully just because and this will be the one I use for the update.

You'll get a lot of different opinions, but I'd say first take the first four nodes of the tank tree, regardless of build. 2 con and 2 armor nodes for 7 points that will drastically improve your survivability for the rest of the game

its the drivers that are the issue
