Guys need a bit of help, doing some tweaks to my difficulty in my world, now im wondering ... if i put "duration of food buffs" all the way to the right, is it the highest? or lowest? cus all the way to the right it says 50% instead of 100% ... which would indicate for me that its shorther than usual..

but when i put lets say duration of night all the way to the right, it says 1 HR instead of 12 mins... so im just confused, for some it appears to be maxed out on the Left, for some on the right.. isnt that a weird way of doing so ö.ö ? or am i just compelelty missunderstanding something her.e

The game autosaves every 5 - 10 mins, if they d/c'd between saves then unfortunately that is lost. Fortunately though, those sparks respawn with the rest of the world on a world reload or 30 minutes with no one in the area.

Theres no real difference at the moment. all plants will work in all soil with Normal Dirt > Farm soil > Fertilised Farm Soil - Being the order of increasing growth speed. The only exception to this is saffron which prefer sand/desert soil to grow in.

We'll probably see another big influx when 1.0 drops. In the meantime we have handfulls of people who pop back in for updates, but for a lot of people the updates are too small to keep their attention for long

Oh absolutely, but reporting good things gets way less attention than reporting bad 😄 There are still people that do guides and such each patch, its just that by simple searches, the old stuff has way more attention for the algorithm to latch onto and throw at you.

I absolutely get that. If you've already played the current content throughout, the updates released are probably not going to hold your interest for very long. For me, however, who still have to 100% the current state of the game, the game is still a completely blast.

Yeah pretty normal and expected that the game won't get as much attention over the early access journey, 1.0/console releases are always huge boosts though.

But honestly it's still doing quite well and we're happy with how much attention it's getting.

For context our tentative sales goal for all of early access was surpassed in the first month of the game's release, which is a big part of why we went from our initial goal of a year of early access to spending a lot more time in it and expanding the scope of the game.

Frankly I think you guys got lucky that Palworld came out when it did. That game did a lot to draw away a lot of the negative "flavor of the week" people without having a major impact on sales or press since a lot of people had already been talking about Enshrouded for weeks and months leading into launch

And I mean if you rreeeaaallllyyy want to go back, Japanese kids were playing with electronic "barcode battler" devices in the early 80s, basically you scanned any random barcode and the device would generate a monster with stats, and you could plug your machine into a friends to make them fight

In general the idea of protecting genres or basic design elements is just extremely harmful to the industry as a whole, I don't really support it in any way.

Like, imagine if Wolfenstein 3D tried suing every first person shooter that you control with wasd, or something. You can take any classic videogame that's ever been made and point to countless elements in those games that were "stolen" from some game that came before. To start trying to protect basic game design elements is just greedy and harmful to the creativity that this industry is built on.

Okay so we all want something like "auto sort" or "auto stack" into chests

I have an alternate idea... What if instead we had like a "Quartermaster" type character or something along those lines who you hand all of your items to and would put them away in the proper chests?

Maybe even be able to talk to that NPC to "requestion" your items from them.
