Imagine a Curse thats actualy not just a simple debuff, and not just curable with a potion chugged.
The Curse seepes slowly into you, takin over your ability to fight properly the longer you let it go on (weapon swings miss more and more often, Arrows fly into the void, casts simply wont go off)
Next stage could then be vision gets blurry at times, etc etc.
And in order to get rid of it you have to follow certain queues, like hunting a special mobtype, to then hunt its mastertype to then fight the big boss mob behind these, or get to certain shrine locations one after another.. the posibilitys...

It usually only compiles them whenever there was an update or patch, but not with every Game start.
If this happens to you, you can disable this via Steam.
Go to Steam - Steamsettings - Downloads - Scroll down to the bottom and deactivate the Shader Options

Fundamentally the structure isn't really set up that way. There aren't any mistakes to be made because you can reset your character any time you want and the world regenerates. It does a really good job of keeping things open to experimentation and discovery
If anything, the main tip for combat I would give is practice parrying, it's extremely useful if you get the hang of it early on

Basically your focus is the same from the early game to the late: your main goal is strengthening the flame. Running quests and unlocking new gear all serve to support that primary goal. That said, following your quests will generally guide you in that direction, just always be looking to get what you need to make the flame stronger and you'll progress just fine
As far as gear and outfits etc, exploration will get you both of those. Check out the towns, ruins, dungeons, tombs etc that you come across as you explore, the game heavily rewards you for it

Yeah, everything outside a flame altar regenerates, so you can't lose or miss out on anything, and you can fully respec your character cheap at any flame altar. Experiment and figure out what feels fun and works for you, the game is really good about giving you the freedom to approach it however you want

Greetings, I seem to have an issue with my game. I loaded into a game and every item that my character wears and in its inventory is invisible. I cannot change equipped armor, I cannot access storage chests or anything and restarting the game does not fix it.

That's probably because he passed the Twitch drop to you(?). In this case, as you haven't "earned" them yourself, you cannot equip them.
You'll have to explore around and get them in-game, as all the Twitch drop rewards are part of the game. You can still acquire them through quests, achievements, discovery...

If you are referring to the proportions of the characters anatomy that has not changed drastically and likely wont. Afaik the style and proportion choices are deliberate and intentional.
Personally i find their rebuke of โperfect humanoidโ proportions charming and i think it adds more to the fantasy.
Too many assume our little toons are humans. Lol maybe they are aliens and just have some shared characteristics. ๐ฝ

Now it's like a TWW splash.. brown/neutral colors with nothing specific, without game vibe.. where the dragonling is barely visible :( I guess it "matches the update" but I like the default one way more (can't post images here, nor in suggestions but just putting the splashes side by side, I feel the shroud and I feel nothing XD

Plants, multiplying seeds and planting again.. It always ended up like this: I will "JUST" plant this and harvest that -> 2h later -> "I will just ..." ->repeat, after few hours, my mates go like "Koko we are going together to do XYZ, you joining, you are like 5 lvls behind xdd
But I mainly wanted to build a lot, because of the endless possibilities.. Yet, there are a few things that make it not entirely "do what you will" cause of 90 degrees limits.. and I wish we could rotate regular "premades" like we can non-building items/decorations

Definitely the building for me. The exploring is fun, questing is fun - but the creative aspect takes the cake for sure. Even farming, which i generally find mundane in other games, is creative and fun and rewarding. I have almost 1200 hours in - most building lol i have a few dif projects - my biggest ongoing build i started very early so i didnโt have as many options when i was building most of it. I got about 800 hours in and decided to wait to try and โfinishโ after the full release comes out. In the meantime i started working on a collection of architectural homes ๐

Does anyone know what the minimum distance a bed has to be from an animal for them to not use it? For example, I have a ton of goats all with beds (only enough beds for each goat). And in a location about 15 m away is my chicken pen (birds who give eggs) there are two adults and 3 beds. I want the birds to have babies but the damn goats keep multiplying. So I now have more goats than beds and no baby birds.

Yeah, it's been an issue since we got taming added. The best solution I've been able to come up with is remove the food from animals you don't want to breed and only feed the ones you do until your bed spaces are filled. It's really the only reliable method I've been able to come up with, I'm not sure what or if there's a distance as I haven't tested

That works too, but as long as you take away their food and they have the hungry icon over their heads, they shouldn't be able to breed at all
That's really the only consequence of not feeding animals, they won't produce materials or offspring until you do

Oh you have no idea what we deal with in regards to this cat...
she is so needy that she can't deal with the fact that we sleep for more than 4 hours and she'll start waking us up. We can't close the bedroom door because she knows how to open it and screams for about an hour until she does... and she'll go on and on for hours until we wake up
and we have tried ever piece of advice the internet has to offer on training her out of it... but we can't ๐ the only thing that might give us a break from it is the bottle.

levels only get you skill points and if you never leave the base, why do you care about skill points mainly meant for combat? there's no point to it then.
also your attributes mainly come from armor and flame levels.
you can build forever just as well at level 1 as you can at level 35.

I'm 60% homemaker, 40% out with them. It'd be nice to be able to pull some kind of weight out with my friends when I do go out for roots, wells, bosses, etc. I doubt anyone is 100% homemaker, because they also venture out to gather materials and what not, so they'd need to hold their own in that respect as well.
I guess I'll just go to the shroud depot and chug scrolls for now.

some people are, ive seen plenty.
the game is balanced around exploring, fighting, and questing. being able to just max level at home base by building or seed planting messes with the intended progression.
of course so does just grabbing gear from a resource world but, eh.

Wands are considered "Melee" at around 7 meters, otherwise, I've seen some mobs be able to get grappled towards you with one of the skills by the green tree. Or swap to a ranged option like bow if it's too hard. I mainly use wands. The complaints I saw the group have was swinging a two hander at their feet and tickling them

I tried the grappler but it just pulls them over me and just out of reach. I end up using the bow but not being specced for it, just takes forever.

I always hated most of it but some of them were fun. I'd sometimes have to setup the big cardboard displays that they make for big movies at movie theaters, and it made my back very sore, but it was satisfying putting it all together like a big puzzle lol
The ones for Disney stuff were nightmarish though, they made them so extravagant and complex they'd take all day.

Honestly in another 5 - 10 years I don't think it'd be unheard of for people to have dockable handhelds that function as a primary PC. We aren't there yet but we're really not far off, especially if you factor in oculink and external GPUs
Some people are doing it now but frankly even for as cool as I find it, price vs performance just isn't there yet

Take a lot of shroud damage. I find the shroud plants (the ones that spit globs at you) do it pretty reliably
