No, they seem to draw from different pools

For example there's one in Albaneve I farmed for rings, and it would drop certain rings, 2h axes, and wands but nothing else

i have 3 altars out, two at gold chest, one at the hollow hall gold sarcophagus

If you're into building you can get hundreds of hours out of it and it's easily one of the most polished early access games I've personally played, hands down

Only thing that could be done is to restrict access to chests only to people you trust in the world settings (before you start the world) and set a password.
For the respawn though leaving for 30m of the chunk the boss is nearby (fair distance will be needed, mostly render-distance) and they're back

In the game you're trying to rebuild the world, so rescuing survivors fits within the narrative and making some of them crafters gives them a purpose. From there players can build villages for them etc giving more purpose to the building. That's just my intuition talking but that's what makes sense to me

That's fair. I figured it was because they wanted to do something different. You guys seem to be more experienced with this game than I am; do you know if they know about and plan to fix NPCs moving slightly when running into them, even when set to 0m Roaming?

99&% sure its exactly that. sure they could have pushed every bit of crafting into respective stations - but then again it would render the npcs more or less useless

i would very much assume yes they do. they are well aware of the complaints the community has with that. and they are known to listen quite well to said com^^

NPC movement is relatively new, they added it about 3 updates ago, and it's been an ongoing process to get them ironed out and working as intended. In the meantime, one solution I've come up with is to put them behind a couple nightstands lined up like a shop counter. They're narrow enough that you can still talk and interact, and no bumping

Your outlet should be AC and your monitor DC. Maybe the little power surge that happens when the refer kicks on is too much for the monitor to handle (again maybe the bits that convert are going on) and it does what its doing.

It def seems isolated to your monitor though, so i doubt its any sort of electrical issue. Id generally expect other devices on the outlet to show some signs of something if that were the case.

hi my dad is a master electrician and has been my entire life. if i may, you should look into your houses power. If theres any new stability issues, they need to be assessed asap. You can try a new monitor, sure, but if the issue continues, call a company out (make sure they have good reviews for residential folks) to test if theres any instability on that breaker group. It may not be the breaker itself but maybe the wires are old. With it warming up, critters are moving around too. if it started during winter it could have been critters looking for warmth in your walls. Alternatively, the wires could just be old and not rated for what youre pulling anymore. Its worth looking into futher and not brushing it off as a "ah this dusty old monitor" please be safe, electrical fires are almost impossible to stop. Not trying to scare ya!!! Please look into it

It's a way to find out. At very least it's free because all they have to do is come out, plug in a few voltage testers, and maybe check the breaker box. If it is a safety issue they'll put it in writing for you

From there, you can bring it to the landlord, and if they refuse to fix it you can do something called putting your rent in escrow. Most banks and credit unions have the service, basically you pay your rent but instead of paying it directly to the landlord, you pay it to the bank, who will release it to the landlord once the unsafe condition has been fixed

The thing is the landlord can't evict or retaliate against you legally for putting your rent into escrow, you're completely safe to do it

Since you paid your rent you can't be evicted for non-payment, and legally you can sue them into the ground if they decide to terminate your lease immedately after using escrow

That said you have to be able to demonstrate it's a legitimate health or safety issue but the paper in writing from the utility company handles that

Not all "shroud pockets" are created equal it seems. Only found one of these fresh shroud spores in a spot that typically doesn't have shroud. Not to mention hunting down a dozen Fell packs only not to find any fresh shroud spore.

This has not been my experience, though it's worth noting a few shroud pockets were on the map before the update. Generally speaking they're pretty reliable and aren't bound to any one area, you can find them in every biome at night

But that's magnified by subterranean builds since those are much less frequent, and it's harder to figure where players might build them. Kinda wish we had better telemetry in that regard, so we could build heatmaps of where players have settled and built.

There's something to be said for a concise experience. Metroid Dread was a great recent-ish one like that for me. Game felt like it moved at a solid clip from start to finish, didn't feel like it had a lot of filler, but felt like it lasted an appropriate amount of time without overstaying it's welcome

Don't put them in a pen next to Yaks, because since they share bed types if they're close to each other, the others will sometimes claim their beds and then you get more baby Yaks instead of Armies

I always feed my animals though, because I usually play with multiple people and it takes lots of materials lol

Yeah, if you don't feed them they won't breed or produce

I have a barn setup and I use that to control which animal makes babies

Also staggering them helps, so if you have adjacent pens make sure you have small bed/big bed/small bed

Yeah, that's what I do. I have a full set up where it goes big, small, big, etc.

I realized I had to when the deer kept taking the chicken beds -_-

I set them up and didn't pay attention, wandered off to do random things and came home to 20 chickens running around
