That's what I've noticed. When scavengers use fire, it's regular orange yellow, but when we use the same fire bombs, it has a sorta purplish tint to it. I think it's just using Ancient Flame magic cuz we're Flameborn or some lore-accurate reason

I don't think wisp of light is meant to be your one and only light source, like you should still have a torch when you need more light. It's more there so you can switch to a weapon for fighting or a pick for mining and still see what you're doing

Yeah technically speaking if you stay within the area, it shouldn't reset while you're there. However I suppose you are risking it disappearing if your game suddenly crashes, or something.

What you can do is back up your save file (here's a guide: https://enshrouded.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/17764283835677-Save-Game-Management)

And then try it after backing up your save. Even if something goes wrong you can just return to the old file.

If you want to place a stack of wood, your best bet is to place an item like a wood chair, take the axe to it and it will break and may leave a wood pile behind. Placement may be tricky/crapshoot

The roots have to respawn for other players, and if it didn't respawn the enemies would despawn. The game would have to keep that area loaded in memory and your save file would be larger. Cause lots of issues.

Interact with the altar and choose Extinguish Flame (or something like that). After 30 seconds, the altar will disappear, and everything there will be destroyed after a few in-game days (or after re-logging).

If you have a look at tast manager (CTRL+ALT+DEL) Click on performance and look for Disk, under that it'll say HDD or SSD most likely.

Okay, unfortunately that is the most likely reason for the issues you're seeing, currently HDD's are proving too slow to load all the assets in a reasonable time. The ideal solution is to move the game onto an SSD if you have one, if not then currently relogging/reloading until it loads 'properly' is the only thing you can do. Keen are aware of the issues with currently running the game on HDD's and are working on trying to improve it, but who knows how long that might take. There's no need to be worried about inventory though, nothing is lost it's simply not showing is all.

We in troubleshooting have been seeing HDD's struggling from update 4, and each update is putting more and more strain on systems, adding more and more assets, yours has been a workhorse until the latest update it seems ^^

It's probably a symptom of the same thing i'd imagine. I would kindly ask though that you submit a bug report, with your logs etc attached using F1 in game (The form will tell you how to get the files needed) Just so they have more info on the subject to move forwards with ^^
