Thanks! It’s not actually a roof piece — it’s a fine stone railing. You can use it to make arches, corner wall trims, and even windows. If you want a better idea of how to do it, I posted a tutorial video over on the Creative Corner.

I built a raised complex over our shroud pocket. It's got three rooms up there where some npcs live.. gutted I can't dehaze/"fix" the shroud from that area, but I worked around it. Literally.

Our longkeep isnt an intentional rebuild, but more a case of we needed more space in the village that popped up beside it - we're thinking of putting down a second flame now to continue repurposing the ruin.

I need to figure out where to stick a ranch next time. Maybe the middle of the old keep lol. Wish us luck!

Hi people, I was busy with some other games but I haven't forgotten my enshrouded projects so I came back after a bit of a break and was a bit startled when I logged on. You see I have been doing a project to restore Glennwood end on one of my servers and when I last left I had replaced a lot of the damaged flint blocks with new ones. Now I came back and everything is covered in ivy whereas before it was just the plain block. What do we think, does the ivy look cool or does it look messy? Trying to decide how to proceed now and the stuff is EVERYWHERE.

Fun little glitch where all the shroud disappeared. Picturesque when outside, a nightmare to traverse within as the animated textures would black out the screen obscuring the view. Thankfully, it corrected itself in a few minutes.

Hi! So I used Stone Bedside Table to match with Stone Sink, I rotate 180 degrees some of those bedside tables and then I used Staff Wall Mount and rotated them to do the fronts so they would look like a drawer front the last step was to use cups to make the cup handle look like a drawer handle (I took this idea from someone that posted this idea on #creative-corner )

I am a fan of blocky, appeases my minimalistic side. Some things I have learned from people to help

1.) Try to avoid making buildings that are box shaped... Try L, T, and H shaped ones too.
2.) Try to use two different textures for different floors... and use a third for accenting
3.) Add balconies, patios, and verandas is a big help too.

the garden is currently getting a re-design. i love the granite mosaic flooring and the new flower beds/ farm plots will be slightly elevated. gives them a cleaner look and let's me have multiple plots more easily. now i can grow many different things at once, which looks nice too :)

I don't think they did... the handrails and the vertical/arch detailing are the same material (all the stone railings). And they picked stone (granite and refined and weathered) to tie in well with it. At least that is what it looks like to me.

@cosmic scroll Why should it be bad? It's a solid base and with some tweaks it will be wonderful. Maybe some pillars at the edges of the outer buildings, a balcony above the door, some frames around the windows and/or some flowers on the windowsill?
The roofs of the buildings right and left a bit lower, maybe a chimney or two? What about a porch? There are many possibilities to take that one to a higher level 🙂
