Should be fine to take 2-3 Hits, but I honestly still feel we got almost no defensive at all.
Thus I'd replace mainstat nodes in the talent tree with either spirit/constitution or stamina.
But in a good mix, for example:
constitution in the center of any tree so defense is always a given
and more spirit the more you are closer to the edges of the mage tree for example.
So even a mage could have stamina nodes at the neighbouring skill tree to the first ranger etc.

Nope this update is really going to cover Shroud areas, add some new enemies in the Shroud and the Weapon Gems. There will also most probably be other features including new props, spells etc.

But nothing that would really require you to start over, generally any new update that changes the world will just automatically populate unless you have a Flame Altar on top of the new terrain. If you do anything outside of the altar radius will be updated but your base will remain intact.

I don't really recommend anyone build in a POI on their main world until 1.0 hits and they're done changing stuff.

...I'm sort of enjoying the Desert Stomach perk (4 food slots) atm...figuring out a food combo that works with my build is interesting. plus having an open slot with 3 foods running is nice to have Hp regen food (like strawberries) running or bandages in a tight situation.

Modding may not be easy because of the custom engine so if they do add mod hooks or open it up a little for modding it's likely to be something for more advanced modders. I am basing that on conversations with Keen staff. That's a pretty common occurance in Steam games that use it's API. There are thousands of servers and hosted games, and at some point the list needs to be truncated, so chances are you might not find a non-friend's game - however Steam prioritizes steam friends, so they will show up.

How to finish big dungeons on the one go? I found some dungeon. It occured later it's multilevel. I was 5-6th floor down and little with just a scrap of life left. From everywhere just mana potions were dropping. Didn't have anything for bandages, food etc. Once on the 3-4th floor fast traveled to my home for resources and back to the dungeon. Apart from one skeleton, nothing more respawned and all the doors I unlocked stayed unlocked, but by the end of that 6th floor I just returned home, slept there, I spent more time. And when I returned to my dungeon everything was already locked, all enemies spawned again, have to clean whole dungeon again. One more thing - the dungeon was a little above my level. During completing this dungeon I reached level 8, where all (literally all, maybe except the bats) all enemies were level 10.

the hollow halls are quite large! biggest reccomendation is to stock up before you go in with bandages, soups, potions, spells, etc. I always always set a flame outside so i have a quick fast travel before entering. Its hard to get EVERYTHINg on your first time through like the artifacts and loot, but once youre in, if you leave, everything will respawn 😦

I had an altar literally front of dungeons, so I remembered about that. And first I entered prepared with potions, bandages etc. But there was floor after floor after floor... And I left with nothing by the end. I would be good if more lie flasks dropped from the vases but it felt like this dungeon was for some mage rather than ranger/fighter. More healing items should drop there imho.

okay! if you follow her quest line she will open up recipes for different foods that can be cooked rather than just the dried purple berries!

also you can craft tons of health potions with the alchemist that just uses mushrooms purple berries and water. For early early game, i reccomend heading to little farms to use the water wells until you get your own wells!

Also, I doubt they'll make Shroud stuff growable. Anything infected by the Shroud is bad and intentionally growing it wouldn't fit the theme.

So here's the thing - resources being obtainable only in the Shroud is a specific choice of the Devs. They want you to interact with the Shroud, to have to brave it to get certain resources to build and make things. It's such a major gameplay point, the next update is centered specifically around making the Shroud more of an actual zone for you to have to go in to do things and have to work to deal with. By taking things out of the Shroud, you make that whole mechanic even less relevant than it already is (at endgame you can basically skip through the Shroud areas and never have to worry about anything).

So no, Shroud resources will most likely always only be obtainable in the Shroud and you're likely going to have to work even more to get them going forward.

Hey. Does the base low level of the weapon somehow impact its stats? For example, I found a nice sword, gold rarity, and upgraded it max to do ~42 DMG. But its base level was 4. Upgraded it to level 6th or sth. like this.
Now, during my unsuccessful dungeon exploration, I found a glowing grave, like it held something of high value or rarity. I opened it, and I found basic, standard daggers there… What the #&*@#? The only reason I keep them is that their level is 10, upgradable (only once) to level 11. So, is there any sustainable difference between my low-level 42 DMG gold weapon and these 0-rarity daggers with level 11? Is there any reason I shouldn't throw them away in the gutter? Does it somehow correspond to character level? I am level 8, and I use level 4–6 weapons; is it something bad?

It's totally fine to use lower level weaponry, as long as you don't have fights becoming a slog.
Loot is rng, you can find a pair of daggers staffs etc. even though you're only using 1h.

basically higher rarity weapons are able to be improved more from their base form, and end up having more improvement stats that affect various things depending on the item. Legendary items can be improved 5 times. In general, you're always going to want a legendary item over a non legendary unless the non legendary is high enough level to still surpass the legendary item after upgrades. There are a few cases where this might not be true, but for the most part it is.

I've been running with an epic bow because unfortunately i have not yet happened across a legendary one that fits my use case. Once i DO find one, however, i will likely drop the epic one immediately.

Yes, I have the same problem with the bow. I still have only epic. But I am just level 8th. I think the legendary bow might be somehow connected to Hunter. Because when I found the legendary sword, the Blacksmith commented I found his fiancée's (or daughter... whatever) sword, although I didn't have any quest connected. So it might be a similar case with Hunter.

In the end, base level of the weapons is (if I remember right) upgradeable 5 times.
If it deals in the end more damage can only be seen when used in practice, but being behind a weapon tier (5-8 level) is not the worst thing that could happen.
Way worse is it to stay behind in armory
