I believe they have to be summoned close to their assigned bed or it wont stay, so when you summon him to the other side of the base it unassigns it.

It's a catch 22. Doing that means now people are complaining that they can't build where they want. But also, I'm sure it's eventually intended for people to be able to rehab villages once the map isn't being worked on any more. It's just an unfortunate byproduct of playing a game that's still being developed

Use altars to preserve everything but the area the chest is in, then take down your main altar and force the respawn. Afterward, replace the original altar. You'll still have to rebuild but you won't lose absolutely everything

It means that the weapon is item lvl 4 but if you talk to a worker in your base and pick enchant in the top then you can upgrade it to item lvl 7 and get some perks😁
