It's automatic when you exit the game properly but you'll want to turn off Steam cloud saves, it can cause wackiness like that

Like if you exited properly but your cloud save didn't update for whatever reason, it'll sometimes revert to whatever the cloud thinks you should have

But also, chests and things respawn when you exit and reload

You can disable that in the difficulty settings. It's at the end of the "survival" part of the settings : Taming Startle Repercussion. Set it to "Keep Progress" and you'll no longer loose hearts.
Honestly i think it should be like that by default except for the hardest difficulties. You have no control over which direction the animal moves after you pet them and if they move towards you there's nothing you can do to avoid startling them. You simply can't move away quickly enough.

This may not be the correct channel but i shall ask anyways. Does anyone have any good locations for farming Shroud Spores (not Shroud Cores) as i tend to craft things in bulk so for example i like crafting about 100 Alchemical Base at a time, which requires the Shroud Spores and the enemy groups at night only giving 1-2 shroud spores if i'm lucky doesn't cut it i need like 4+ for each enemy i kill in that sense. I also am playing on the default difficulty (since before they introduced the ability to change settings) so making a "custom" world solely to double the resources makes me feel funny (almost like it's a cheat/exploit even though it's a in-game feature, also given the fact that i've really enjoyed the normal diffuclty grind for resources. With the fore-mentioned Shroud Spore dilemma. (Note: If this is in fact the wrong section for this could a mod please move it to the proper channel, thanks)

You want to get more for your time (Understandable) but don't want to turn up drop rates because you consider it a cheat/exploit... To my knowledge there aren't any specific mobs that drop more spores than others. So despite your feeling on the subject, your best option is to turn up drop rates on your world for the period you want to farm them, then turn it back to normal afterwards (The only other option is using a resource world, but that too can be considered 'cheating' if you want to look at it that way.)

I could help you out if you need me to, but I'll drop the same advice ive been giving people. you can take a pickaxe to the locked doors and circumvent the jump puzzle. it takes a little bit of time but they'll eventually break.

My final count was 182 tries, 4 actual successful jump pad connections between the first and second pad (the first pad did not launch me far enough to hit the second pad most of the time- likely a lag issue on my end but super frustrating) and 1 successful trip all the way up. It took me 3 weeks of trying!

I put a comment in the suggestions forum that they put respawn points between the floors so at least folks can get back to their prior success spot without having to purposefully die via cancel glide so they don't have to clamber up to reach the start of the spire each retry. I did the Nomad spire on my first try a week ago and was so happy to see that it's just the Blackmire spire that is horrific for anyone with any kind of lag. I don't mind having to figure out how to space jumps or discover safe pathways, but there was nothing I could do about how high or far the first jump pad sent me. 😕

Just started taming animals in game. I waited so long because I knew I'd spend a lot of time taking care of them. Didn't know they'd eat me out of house and home so fast though. Are there any plans to reduce the speed at which all animals eat? I spend so much time filling their bowls and planting to make more food I can't do the rest of the game as a single player

I mean, unless you need the resources from them there's no harm in leaving the food bowls empty. They just won't produce or procreate

A bit late to the party, however last I heard, despite being on the roadmap, water is still very much an "if" at this point and not a "when," but they are trying their hardest.

At this time, they have been unable to make water work in a way that could be run by possible future consoles they want to add support for or the lower-end computers that are still inside minimum specs. #enshrouded-chat message

FFXIV and fallout are not building games. FFXIV has to limit their "building" areas to instanced areas. They also don't have water blocks.

The issue isn't that they can't, they have, it's that they can't while making it look reasonably good and also not tanking people's framerates. There are already lower VRAM cards that can't run the game as it is and aside from water, the other big request they have is Steam Deck compatibility. Not all challenges and limitations are strictly spec based

You'll likely get a consistent 60, maybe if your settings are on Max Performance. Otherwise, anything more that upping your voxel detail models will likely take frames away. And of course, the more you build and put in areas, when those areas are loaded, the less your frames will be.

That's just the nature of games like these and no amount of optimization is going to fix that. More eitities means less frames.

After leveling it up I got flat 32 power (that's +4 damage from 4 levels).
But it got those extra stats:

So **if **those two were added up. It would have been 44 flat power. Which is not the case.

So in my case, it's 32 flat damage + 6 piercing damage + 6 piercing damage.

The issue occurred after equipping my gear to a newly placed mannequin and then trying to re-equip it to my character. It seems that only a certain number of equipment slots can now be utilized, while the rest are no longer usable.
Prior to this, I was mid-game and wanted to enhance and expand my second base. For this purpose, I used Cheat Engine (Atamg CT) to duplicate blocks, so I wouldn't need to farm for every small test or idea. No matter what I equip first, I can't assign the last 6 slots.
