Just some feedback - having so many different discords discourages collaboration. I'm already in 200 discords and have to leave one anytime I join another- breaking your community out into multiple other discords just makes my life harder, which means, I'm less likely to participate or engage in that section of the community, or contribute to the wiki.

some - it depends. Some I'm in for the emotes. Some I just exist in so people can ping for moderation, but I don't participate much. Some I'm in for when I need help or support, like the Python discord - I don't talk about Python everyday, but they are super helpful when I am working on something in Python. Most of the game-related discords I've slowly been leaving by using the newish "subscribe" feature to get their major updates in my personal discord

I could leave some of the emote discords by taking the time to copy the emotes I care about to a single discord, and then leave

That's a thing too. Discord is governed entirely by the whims of the people who created the server. Your free speech may be protected legally, but that only applies to a court of law. Discord servers can decide for themselves what free speech means and you're entirely left to those whims if you want to be part of it xD

You could do the same for RP purposes but frankly in a gameplay sense it would make far more sense to build 6 in one location. I live in an apartment complex, and USPS has on multiple occasions left packages at the door to the front office... in an apartment complex with only a single entrance... that has nearly a thousand people living here... As someone who has made chain mail, both some larger pieces (for a friend when I was first learning), and jewelry-link since, I can tell you that properly fitted armor does move as you breath. Even, or especially, properly made plate pieces. This is because they are cinched on over chain or padding, and are separate pieces, rather than a 'full outfit'.

To really appreciate the idea, though, you probably should look at hos most plated armors were fitted, and even some of the lamellar variants did the same.

I can also tell you that it's fun, and adds to realism, when I put in parts in one of my stories where one of the more heavily armored characters I have is going through donning or doffing their armor, because I'll name specific pieces, and give a little description of the location, or how it might need adjusted.

I like brittlebrush to reno - don't set up your shrine in the lower sector though as you need to farm a cosmetic set there - also make sure you have done emily's quest at the top first.

Wherever you decide just make sure there are no quests associated with it first. If there is do them + you should be good to go

the fact is that in order to collect a large pile of the same crop (flax, for example), you need to press the harvest button many times.

That's true. although it's slightly annoying to have to spam E, it lets you pick up a massive amount of plants incredibly fast. Compared to farming in other survival games like 7days or Valheim, the farming in Enshrouded is so painless, it's beautiful. (but a scythe certainly wouldn't hurt)

Valheim made a scythe for harvesting, which greatly helped in its harvesting. I understand that harvesting is painless in Ensrouded, but the further you develop, the more resource needs increase, and this turns into a routine.

• Turn redwood into normal wood.

I'm no technical expert, but right now, in order for the game to load, it'll have it's 'base' which is the main world, then the flame altars which it double checks. The more changes, the more it has to change on the loading, meaning more performance requirements.

That's also why large builds will lag/low fps for a lot of people.

That and a lot of the game is fundamentally built around things respawning. They might add it eventually but it's probably low on the list considering more pressing things like bug fixing and additional content (plus the mile long feature request page they have to sift through)

For sure bugs and stuff come first. I would at least like an option/toggle to have the world changes, such as mining, be persistent if it's technically feasible.

The world at default is saved in the game files itself. Every single change we make to that world has to be saved in memory, and if it was persistent, it would then have to be saved in your save file. The larger the save file is, the more that has to be loaded in from your save file which uses more of your RAM as you load those areas and they stay loaded for 30+ minutes.

Limiting the amount of changes a person can have at any given time to specific areas reduces the need for the changes to go from the game files into the save file and reduces the size of the save file itself.

Best example is if you've ever played minecraft and explored huge areas of the world. It makes your save file balloon in size and makes the whole world laggy as a result because it's trying to store all of that in ram

Thats why we have shrouds and they hurt you, because the mist also contains the spores
