There is. Use the hammer and switch to landscape mode. You can right click with any terrain shape to remove terrain.

You can't really do rounded blocks in this, everything is going to be snappped to that same grid, but you can get a rounded aesthetic for some builds, I've seem some very good looking towers from builders, but it definitely takes work

she hangs out, and gives you a quest or two, iirc. to make the farmer's food, you need to make a campfire, but not the regular ones, you need a pot, the same way you need like, the sawblades or the crucible

The farmer(s) act as crafters. They'll have food once you unlock the recipes. Otherwise, there's two(ish) crafting stations the main farmer will unlock that Auto cooks certain items like meat.

I bought the game and got in 5 hours of play time (two hours too many for a steam refund) and the game is permanently stuck on pre-processing screen.

uh, sometimes when I used to alt-tab during preprocessing it glitched the preprocessing

made the game stutter alot

It should be a quest in your journal if you're at that point. If not, you may need other quests/more levels

Some quests wont pop up until you're at the prerequsite level

Nothing extremely close, no. There are plenty of sci-fi survival-craft style games, but Enshrouded is quite exceptional in how they have done their building.

It’s better than other building games. Snapping items alone is amazing. I hate the 500 Fallout76 type building systems where the walls snap, if you are lucky, shed everything else you need the patience of a saint to align. Worst building system ever IMO

Kill the few enemies inside, take the root, and there's a pretty decent iron node in there. Recommend dropping an altar and a workbench nearby for easy farming||

Quick tip, the two constitution nodes right at the start of the tank/warrior tree, just below the middle circle are two of the most underrated nodes on the tree IMO. For 2 points you can double your HP pool. Do recommend 👍

The best way to build, at least imo, is to play and gradually add what you find you're lacking. Stam is an issue? Grab endurance (and look at your foods). Dying a lot? Add some con and armor. Build to play style rather than a template

But I don't want to wait until my bar fills up again. Also mostly, shoes with health regen reduce also feature alot of regen themselves. For fighting multiple enemies I can see that saving my back.

Enshrouded Server & Character Wipes

As of current writing (6 Febuary 2024) we do not have any plans to force wipes at any time. However, with the Enshrouded being in early access and the fact that a LOT of things will change between now and full release, we cannot guarantee that there may or may not be a major update
that requires old saves to break.

Also being that so much is changing, there is always a chance that an update may break old saves, so we recommend backing up saves regularly that you care about. As this would be something that could be the end of the world for players.

We will do our best to avoid this, and it's not something we're planning intentionally we cannot guarantee this will "never happen" either since there are a lot of unknown variables in the future.

Ok so your resistance to shroud and time limit are granted by the flame. The red goop drains only your resistance to said shroud and you will only die to it if in the shroud.Thats a pretty SOLID mechanic and makes perfect sense. Van is also a helper and his entire role here is to help those with issues or concerns to better understand things in the game. Just sayin

I think the intention of it not outright killing is rooted in earlier stages of the game because tombstones could spawn odd. But more to that when I am home.

it's odd i fell off a darned platform after clearing a well and I was trapped down on the red floor, so I kind of just decided to respawn myself which didn't cost me a gravestone (turned it off to balance it out)

did not have enough bait to tame him. i fast travelled to my base to get more nut when i fast travelled back he had wandered off and i can't find him

Either restart the server you're playing on (If), or go back to the titlescreen and restart the session if you can't find him

Otherwise, stay away from the area for ~31 minutes and he might reset

I have no reason to "White knight" nor feel "personally offended" about any mechanic from a game who I only happen to have bought a license and no rights on it. Neither you than me decide how it has to be but the devs do.
