Hey, wanted to ask - why are the steam achievements related to the new zone available on steam before the patch with the zone in question is even released?

Achievements are sometimes pushed to Steam ahead of time, sometimes a month in advance. Usually its for testing to ensure they actually work and trigger correctly.

As far as I'm aware when you update the database with new achievements you cannot limit them to a specific build, so when they're pushed they are availalbe to everyone even if your build cannot access that content.

It's superb! Adds a lot of stuff to do in the old zones and an entire new zone. It also feels like they did a lot of graphical improvements and UI updates

ive only been able to play on my deck so far but it seems the performance mode made LOD of distant structures way lower so i turned it back to quality

cant wait to see the ice biome since i started a mage playthrough a few weeks before the update

It's not the definitive version for sure. I think there may be fine tuning on the way along to polish NPCs and their interactions.

Water is not easy to create with the voxel approach Enshrouded has. So we have to butter up with patience.

I doubt we will get water we can interact with, probably only in places where we cant edit the terain around it... I tried to have dynamic small voxel water and it was soo calculation intense it was already lagging below 24fps.
