I had picked out an awesome spot to build, have been toiling away at it in any moment of free-time I've managed to have. I'm about 10% done with the build now, maybe a little further, and I've lost inspiration in the spot itself. Do I move on and try somewhere new? Do I keep at it while continuing to lose momentum?

While deer can only see specific color, bears seem to have a very broad color, not sure if it has something to do with threat or prey analysis

Would make sense. Bear comes in slow and added details allows a more accurate assesment. Deer has less color = less necessary brain power to process what is coming at you

I dunno, it feels like they're trying to keep combat relatively simple. Directional combat like that feels like it would be super complex to deal with.

I'd do something like:
Click - light attack
Click and hold - heavy attack
Q (or whatever keybind) - special attack

Then have the ability to change the heavy/special attacks with skills or weapon sockets or something.

Maybe another keybind or two for other options, like a spell quickcast or other ability

Even keeping it simple like that has enough skill expression for combat to feel meaningful, especially with parries, jump attacks, ability to cycle through weapons/spells, etc.

But it's simple enough that it's not overwhelming to people who aren't dark souls veterans.

Let's be honest, as far as survival games are concerned, the combat is already one of the best 😝

i dont buy the getting paid more that much, if it happens you're also saddled with portions of other peoples jobs, and if you take vacation no one does your work, it just builds up. and instead of giving a raise, companies somehow think its beneficial to fire you because you don't know about severance pay, and hire 3 employees in your place to almost do what you were doing but not quite. and hiring the 3 employees actually cost more, and it turns out they just didn't want to give you raise for some reason lol. happened to all my friends. it's like remember that guy john? he was doing all this work? and they let him go, now they hired 3 people to replace him... lol

That happens a lot. They don't pay attention to what someone does, then when they try to hire someone to replace them, they end up realizing that no one will do the same job for the same pay, they have to split the jobs and then pay out way more than they were before. If they had just not been so greedy, they would have saved a lot of money just giving that one person a raise.

This is by the way, nor how it works.
If you rule out, you're not "creative" enough or haven't put enough "time" into the build so you won't be chosen as a favorite build/the things the guys build with Builders-Companion... Yes. They are much better equipped, nicer to look at and, above all, have more options... If only I had the chance to be rolled out randomly based on the number of participants.
If that's five people on ~65, that looks different than 1/4.
