But blueprint systems are often buggy and for this game I think it would be too complicated and likely undoable. You would have to have everything needed in the blueprint in your inventory

I had this scene in my mind for some days; the Flameborn is fixing Alden's crypt wall and something goes wrong. Flameborn gets upset and looks at Alden, who says, "Sometimes, death is better." Next Flameborn storms out of the crypt and heads to the cliffs where he jumps off. "Aaaaaaagh!"

They are working on them. Creating roaming/working NPCs that actually feel worthwhile is difficult (see Medieval Dynasty or Sengoku Dynasty). If you just have them wander, they don't feel important, if you have them assigned jobs and they don't do them well they feel dumb. So getting them implemented properly of vital and unfortunately that takes time.

I'm not sure exactly where we stand right now but it is very likely that we'll first get additional NPCs, and then at a later date get improved functionality for said NPCs

so for the start they'd just be "more people to have hanging around your bases"

Yeah and it's just our job to be good at understanding how players will react to things. They have. You can terraform with the construction hammer's terrain tool (the row at the bottom)

Yeah, when the rake doesn't work on slopes, then I use the hammer terrain sloped pieces to start, and then I refine it. But it takes a bit, that's for sure

hey i encountered a indestructible wood piece in the starter ruin. on the upstairs platform where the rats are is a palet leaned against the mountain in rubbel. i hit it quite some times now for 18 damage but opposed to other wood there it simply doesnt get destroyed

There are some of those indestructibles in the world, but if you can damage it generally you can destroy it.
