BTW, about a pickaxe. If ( God forbid) part of the ceiling or wall (not very large, just a few small pieces) collapses in your house, will you take a pickaxe and chisel the floor, so that you can then remove the fallen debris along with the remains of the floor and then lay a new floor, which was not damaged by those pieces of the wall or ceiling?

What will I do seeing debris on my floor? I will take them using my hands, not a pickaxe. If we are big fans of realism, let's stop using pickaxe to clean up our house. Maybe we "live in postapocalypse", but our characters don't look like mindless savages. So, my proposal -let us remove rubble inside the existing house without a pickaxe, just using E, like for any other loot that we want to take.

From the block's perspective there really isn't an "inside and outside" though. "Sheltered" comes from having something above your head. The blocks only respond to where they are located and whether another block is positioned in certain locations near it.

From what I can tell, the individual blocks only react to the blocks directly connected or at an angle from them. The might be able to tell if one side of the block is "sheltered" even without the block being nearby, but I am not sure.

Scavs drop a ton of scrap, and you break their camps up for more if you want. Rookmore alone is 50-60 per run. Larger areas like the SE sun temple you can walk away with more than you ever need.

Yes I know that 1, it's in a cave with a HUGE amount of highly dense Amber. After you kill the shroud root I'd suggest grabbing as much Amber as you can get.

Magic chests don't connect to automatic crafting stations, and for good reason; since they just craft endlessly, they would deplete your resources entirely. If you could choose how much the stations make and then stop, it would be awesome to connect them to the base inventory network. But, as of now, you can't, and we're stuck manually moving materials to and from timers that can take hours to finish. Really not fun in a game like this; the only time I've seen a crafting timer of this length in a game is to entice you to spend money to speed it up.

Still, releasing hollow halls and calling them the instanced dungeon makes the roadmap feel redundant. That at instanced dungeons were planned for later in the year, where hollow halls were in the next few updates batch. I think someone shouldn't have marked instanced dungeons "done" on the upvote site.

It was marked done in !upvote site, not a huge deal, but it looks like a new guy was confused by it. That also confirms for me that these aren't the instanced dungeons though (didn't think they were).

That middle part, let me clarify. You either go into the hollow halls on the server or you don't go into the hollow halls on the server. There doesn't seem to be a way to have them instance out so that people on the same server can be in hollow halls 1, 2, 3, etc. Yes people can be outside the hollow halls while others are in the dungeon. I wasn't clear.

most studios have like some weeks for hotfixes and then focus on normal patches/updates again

I mean yeah it's definitely not important, not sure why people in here are suddenly acting like it is or that this is a high demand thing that we are refusing to do, this is the first I've heard about it in quite a while. Group DMs honestly probably work straight up better than random scattered voice chats in a larger server.

Most servers that have them are either self-moderated with a bot or completely unmoderated. Nobody is sitting there micromanaging all the VCs on the official ark server or whatever.

We can add the self-moderation bot probably at some point, there was just not a ton of demand for it and I didn't want to deal with yet another bot. But if for whatever reason people really want them I can try to set it up at some point. I don't like how clunky the publicly available one is though, I think a lot of servers make a custom one which is harder to do.
