A light tap to the shoulder can keep you down and a hit to the arm can make you fall

So all of the time they have weapons that will be used as blunt

was doing light sparring and didnt wear my gorget, caught a thrust that was meant for my mask up under the bib of it and between my carotid and windpipe at what felt like full force

he thought i crushed my windpipe because of the noise i made and the doubling over that occurred but i was unharmed

the armpit stabs were usually because of this one guy ryan who would overuse geislings and at one point did it when it made 0 sense and basically put all of his weight into a one handed stab into my armpit while i was advancing with a cut

the closest to dying i think is the time i wore my gear for like 4 hours straight at an outdoor team fight event and upon trying to pat me on the back my friend felt the heat radiating off me without even making contact and i got forcibly sidelined for a bit to recuperate

had no water with me for some reason

Is the Early Access worth buying yet, i bought it when it released but refunded cuz i was unhappy with the state of it, has it been fixed since, i know the dev team are putting out updates a good bit but the two main problems i had was preformance and the weird change in physics

At my club we aren't allowed to do any grappling like that. Only sword grappling if it arises. But it's a good thing in my opinion

we dont like suplex people but we'll disarm and trip somebody over our leg

and to prevent cases of extreme force we use controlled extreme force like punches and headbutts to end fruitless grapples

Personally imo the "worst" HEMA kits are ones with grey or brownish jackets and exposed calves. It's all just personal aesthetics. I think the black as default serves as a good template for adding colour tho

I saw someone once with a very flowery pattern stitched all across their gear. It was very cool
