They just give up when you choke them, it wouldn't be muscle mass because the choking is based on whether pressure is put on their neck, not just grabbing it, you can choke them with staffs, swords, or anything that they don't clip through, that includes objects and walls. I've been choked by their foot before.

While there's some wonkiness with changing the settings, I'm glad they also made it easier to just bump up the graphics and open up camera mode.

Before EA doing that would make all the particles and blood and stuff reset, so if you wanted cool action screenshots you had to melt your PC, now all that stuff doesn't reset so you can play the game at lower settings and screenshot at higher settings easier.

Ironically adding blood caused more hype than the full release of the game, i remember they had a 6 hour slowmode maybe going to 24 hour, basically hitting everyone in the nose with a riot shield. A few people went to the food channel because they didn't put slowmode there.
