Well aside from the performance and the character falling all the time, the biggest loss IMO is there's a lot less clarity on the progression compared to gauntlet mode.
It takes a lot more time to get into a match with loadouts, mercenaries, between round healing, crafting, buying, managing abyss souls, etc.
Personally I was hoping for just the same gauntlet with extra modes, maps, and weapons. All these other menus make it feel like a different game, and not one that's nearly as fun as the demo.
