Half Sword Community Rules

By joining this server, you agree to comply with Discord's Terms of Service (ToS), Community Guidelines and the rules stated below.

Access to this server and Discord is a privilege, not a right. The staff or moderation team reserves the right to suspend your access at any time for reasons including, but not limited to, failure to adhere to the rules stated below.

Blocking Half Sword Games, Game Seer, or Moderation team members is grounds for removal.

1. Communicate respectfully and effectively
a. Don't be a scoundrel

  • Trolling, flaming, personal attacks, excessive profanity, hate speech, and general toxic behaviors will not be tolerated.
  • No baiting.
  • No spreading of misinformation or disinformation on any topic.

b. Stay on-topic for each channel. Read the channel description and pinned messages for more details.
c. No spam

  • Do not spam or fill up a substantial portion of a channel with your messages, including using AI generators like ChatGPT. Likewise, do not transmit disruptive content on a voice channel.

2. No politics

  • Discussions about philosophy, religion, identity politics, and topics of an ideological nature are prohibited.
  • No discussing controversial figures Politicians, Murderers, War Criminals, Terrorists, Et Cetera
  • This includes all media as well

3. No drama

  • Do not incite, engage in, or revive drama.

4. Do not post any content that can be deemed pornographic or NSFW.
**5. Do not impersonate staff, Discord, Discord Bot, and or Important persons **
6. No illegal activities
a. No excessive drug talk. This includes discussions about legal substances in legal contexts.
b. No promotion, endorsement, or threats of the following:

  • DDoSing
  • Doxing
  • scams
  • malicious applications

7. No excessive tagging
a. Do not tag the Half Sword Dev Team or Game Seer staff. The only exception to this rule is when they are active in chat.
b. Do not tag any role or user excessively.
c. Use #modmail for general reports and reserve <@&1080390104562016306> for issues that require immediate action.

8. Don't argue moderation action

  • Do not publicly argue or comment on moderation actions. If there is an issue with an action taken, use #modmail. If you have an issue with a moderator, contact <@&1268352604799369286>.

User Profiles

Profile pictures and nicknames are subject to server rules and will be moderated accordingly.
Our team has not vetted or moderated the content of user profiles, except in cases of clear violations of Discord ToS.

Regarding Gore

Gore is a part of the game; however, obscene images of gore should not be posted on the server.
Video game and movie gore are exceptions to this rule but please use Discord's spoiler feature when posting such media.
