as soon as pvp becomes an option, it opens the door for the whole headache of balancing/fair gameplay, which frankly doesnt exist in this game cause its realistic. but even if the weapons and allat were mechanically balanced, it'd still leave issues of latency and input delay, as currently i could throw attacks in say; 200-ish ms, that physically cant be reacted to when combined with input-screen latency, and server latency. itd mean fights would be over before they began

i would like to see pvp regardless but im pretty confident those are the main factors against it for the dev team

staying in a passive parry position tends to help because not only can it parry by itself if you get lucky but it also helps with reaching your opponent's weapon quicker

that applies to most other like medium size weapons too

i usually just move my cursor slightly towards the opponent's weapon

kind of like how you would parry in modern fencing (which i do :p), just push it out of the way and riposte

there was a mod for the original steam demo that allowed you access to spawning items, enemies, weapons, and whatnot in the void, as well as having access to various GUIs, one of which displayed the health for each limb

getting hit would reduce the limb's health, and waiting around had it heal by like 1hp every 2 seconds

it will happen whenever it rly feels like it

you can slightly nudge someone with a sword and they get sliced in half

Thanks! Just a very low FOV (between 10° and 15°) and blur that I adjust if needed. I also sometimes play around with camera rotation and colorimetry but that is pretty much all !

I think you can get past the point you don't want to repeat, then make a copy of the guantletprogress file and replace that file each time you want to start over from the desired point.
