All I will say is that spears were so OP they used to be unanimously considered the most OP weapon in the game, those 1 handers are far less daunting when you either strike first or close range with a good slashing weapon.

If you can do neither, smack them in the head with the long range weapon you have

axes only function within a very specific range, if you're standing within it, they're devastating

but then again, you can do a lot, and use many weapons which allow you to stand well beyond or well within it

I love that you swing from the left. Mine is similar, I get both swords on one side and if I swing in this example with the right hand first and then quick switch to the left it hammers in the right hand/blade into most blocks like shields.

Or option two if right side is the side favorable to the blades its gonna have to be a risky shin to foot swipe, then wait for the guard to drop, then do my best to get the throat or sword arm. If I’m desperate a leg will do I’ll just try to slash it till he can’t move right.

The length is almost max for the T3 blades. I think there is only one blade longer than the ones I like to use.

I love the snappiness, it’s so easy to swing fast and wide, if you try meeting them with a slower more relaxed blade it works well. Like just tap their blade take note of the height then with the opposite hand match the height and adjust the swing.
