mostly up to preference i guess, in my experience higher fov makes closer things look far and lower fov makes farther things look closer, i have it at a medium 80, though higher fov does give you better situation visibility when up against more than one enemy, but that is if you put yourself in a 1v2 situation.

if you stay weaponless you wont have weapons
you have to click the farmer icon, and get a weapon
in gauntlet you dont have to play a character on the same level as your enemies, you get more points per win if you play lower rank characters
