GENUINELY an idea i think might be worth pursuing is having "alt" mode become the normal mouse mode and cover the basic (~9?) areas a sword can guard from, have holding alt involve a more fine-tuned rotation of your sword (point forward, point back, hands high or hands low, whatever) and then let go and strike from there

nearly everything is physics based, that includes his balance— that's why it may seem unnatural sometimes. Since the original demo drop, the devs have made several large improvements to how the body moves realistically, but there is always room for improvement

The gauntlet is a progressive challenge where you start as a beggar, and work your way up battle by battle. Its foddian in a way, since you restart when you die. Its challenging!
