Just a question, anybody else losing their gauntlet progress when the game crashes? Doesn't happen every time but it's happened twice now. Finally got the baron in the ultimate challenge without crashing, tried it in one match, ended up crashing and called it a night. Just booted it up and i'm all the way back to beggar. 🥲

Always had it on DX11, it's something about the new demo cuz I never had these issues on either the old demo or the playtest. Unless I played the buhurt mode but everybody seems to have issues with that mode, even then it was rare on older builds. With how much it's been crashing I've been avoiding buhurt like the plague.

Why is the player EVEN weaker now??? My dude falls over if he stands on an item, if ANYTHING touches him or his weapon. sometimes he just stops running for no reason. The NPCs on the other hand do not fall over nearly as much as they used to, even when it would make sense that they would.
Additionally, weapons are having a hard time piercing the enemies, and they can take so many more hits than me.
Also, is health regen disabled on final challenge??

I understand that Stamina is more important now, and I like it. But do the NPCs even have Stamina? I have never seen one get tired, nor do they get knocked over without multiple hits.
Also that piercing thing is absurd. I have never done that. On multiple occassions my sword bounces off a shirt like it's made of rubber.
The no health regen is... not a choice i would've gone with. they want you to do the final challenge completely hitless or what

the previous tiers you can choose what weapon to start with, and you know what weapon the boss uses. This, you have to hope the first guy has a good weapon, and then hope the second and third guys have good weapons

if they dont you get swarmed too fast by fully armored guys and get knocked over

multiplayer is something they want to look into when they finish the game- they have no experience with multiplayer games and physics based gaming on Unreal Engine is pretty difficult to bring to multiplayer. splitscreen is very possible, though!

Really? I feel if they added more sandbox-esque elements it could give the game a ton of replay ability. Even now a lot of people here are replaying the game a ton, and before too on the play test without gauntlet mode. Adding onto to that, not every game needs longevity in my opinion. Half Sword really does feel like a game I can return to to have fun with any time. Kind of reminds me of besiege, is that way.

Well, imo it's because NPCs can pose their own challenge, like in the Ultimate Challenge for example, also because some people just want to relax and not put their skills against other people's, and sometimes beating on helpless peasants in your big armor with your big sword is just dumb fun.
