The levels were set up for distributing permissions. After we reached 60k members the perms got abused to frequent.

The server permissions did not make sense to prolong across to many levels. So you can rank higher then lvl 3 but there is no corresponding role.

So I replicated this in game, and to my surprise it worked but was optimal with shorter blades.

Fiddle with the sensitivity. Lower it by a lot and gradually increase as you feel more in control.

Lower sens = More controlled, intentional cuts.
Higher sens = More power and speed.

For practice:
Get used to all the defensive stances and try to go fluidly between them.
Practice cutting in a straight motion from the aggressive stances.

also imo the first few tracks, that i assume were in the older itch version, vs the void demo vs the current playtest...

there's a marked increase in quality to the tracks and kinda like they have more 'going on' with them, seems like you kinda found your groove/style with it and i really like where it ended up, majority of the tracks have both a tenseness/urgency to them that fits the whole medieval combat setting, but still some whimsy to them that matches the goofyness that full physics often leads to...idk how much of that was intentional but intended or not it fits perfectly, id say.

oooo, the playtesst is more light hearthed, more funnier; the demo is more darker and the itchio version was the first steps of finding the sound. But this is something that i will keep working because i want to keep finding new ways to the sound of Half Sword.
There is a lot of genres and hints of other games like castlevania or doom (og doom).
Thats why i think people like the ost also, is a familiar sound, historical medieval music is not easely to hear hahhah

played some sims back in the day, my childhoods...when i wasnt playing spyro or twisted metal 2 on my PS1 (the startup of which is still the most eargasmic sound ever created)
