How TF can you use the great sword?

I love the longsword, but I find the great sword to be too unwieldy.

Definetly did a good job on taking those opportunities whenever your blade went under their armpit. I think a big part of it too is that its certainly different from the longsword. I feel like knowing when to half-sword and take those opportunities to drive the blade into their armpit is a sort of learned reflex from using the weapon enough.

The stab? I hold right click to halfsword, then let go of right click while I begin the swing to get the 1hand stab going. takes a little bit of feeling out to get the timing, but generally the longer/heavier the weapon, the easier it is to time. using alt can also help, but isn't always required

Stabbing Advice 🔪

When stabbing with alt (with swords), pull your weapon in closer to your body as opposed to extending your elbow out. It's much more accurate and stable.

Alternatively If it's a two handed weapon it is recommended to hold right click first, then drag your mouse to aim the weapon. Then from there double click and hold left mouse (you can try alt a little as well but clicking is more stable)
This is a much more stable and accurate stabbing pose, and a proper halfsword thrusting stance.

To practice your aiming, there's two different ways you can keep your FOV.
Third Person- with Low FOV, so you get a closer view.
or alternatively;
First Person- with High FOV, so you get a wide view of your weapon and it's positioning.
