Hmmm sometimes I use the app to express some emotions I wouldn't dare to speak out loud to avoid bothering my friends (they are supportive but sometimes it's tiring for them and I get it). Or I also used it at the very beginning to improve my English and talk to more people in that language as it helped me being more confident. So yes it can help but we all need to understand it's only a crook and not real therapy, real advices etc

First I would give a warning to the app to explain what has happened and what's going to happen. Then maybe after a couple days an introduction to the verification - perhaps annoying but locking off sexually natured bots and locking chats after recognising sexual or problematic words if the user is not verified.

To sort out the timer. Let them use it as much as they want? Maybe after a surplus amount of time (3 hours or so) give a warning message or something then if not doing anything lock the chat for an hour or so. As well as this for unverified users they could recognise time zones and lock the chats 12am to 6am in that day ensuring minors get rest.

I unfortunately am not a 226 team of adults that have had years to come up with a bullet proof plan but I don't think it's entirely stupid
