Literally. The lore was literally manufactured by the community more than himself. All he did was confuse the fans and make a foundation for everyone to depict the story differently—it's become a game where you make your own universe / lore and call it a day.

Scott never originally planned for the game to get popular nor muster up it's own lore. Hence the story being so confusing to generally understand. He definitely attempted to add to it but never really had it cooridnated (?). The books are their own thing and for people to pick from so they can build up an idea of how the games are supposed to go.

This is why people can never TRULY tell whats even canon anymore 😭

Security breach is amazing but dude, it feels like theyre milking out the lore and games more than adding to it and wrapping up the holes that are in the lore.

there was actually some sort of lore in the fnaf 3 minigame, cause that was, if im not wrong? where it took place to reveal what happened in william's pizzeria that he worked with henry (idfk his best friend's name)

No I definitely agree, the lore is everywhere because Scott doesn’t even really know what to do with it
Which is why I’m really iffy with the movies. Considering they heavily mix the books and games together in an attempt to patch pothole in the lore, but it doesn’t really work out much and kind of makes me sad (imo)
